Chapter 6 The little dumpling cries and needs its dad to comfort it.

Aunt Ning smiled broadly, her lips never drooping: "She really is Daddy's sweet little darling."

...

The Huo family.

As soon as Huo Qin left, Aunt Ning started getting busy.

Aunt Ning is efficient and decisive. She purchased some children's aids online and had them delivered to her door quickly, such as a small toilet seat and a safety stool for washing up.

After finishing breakfast, Chaochao wandered around the house curiously. Although Huoqin's house had many rooms, they were mostly empty except for the beds, tables, and chairs. The living room and dining room were also sparsely decorated, and there wasn't a single photograph.

As for Huo Qin's master bedroom, she only lingered at the door for a while before going in. Chaochao is three years old and respects her privacy. She wouldn't go in without her father's permission.

After strolling around like that, Aunt Ning pulled me aside to feed me a plate of fruit, and then I ran out to play in the yard.

She looked up at the chirping birds on the branches: "Chirp chirp chirp—"

Little bird: "Chirp chirp—"

One person and one bird, there is give and take.

The system asked curiously, "Is Chaochao imitating bird calls?"

Chaochao: "I'm chatting with Huihui."

system:?

Who is Grey Grey? Why are there so many new characters that it doesn't know about?

Chaochao: "My new friend."

She pointed with her little finger to the gray magpie in the tree. The bird had a shiny black head and neck, a gray back, and gray wings and tail with a hazy blue tinge.

Grey said he was very happy to see me!

The system replied in a friendly tone, "Oh, I see."

It didn't take it to heart, simply dismissing it as childish innocence.

Around lunchtime, after saying goodbye to the little bird, Chaochao suddenly got an upset stomach.

The World Tower.

While observing the senior executives' performance review in his office, President Lin Cheng spotted a peach-flavored candy on his boss's desk. The main reason for the surprise was the jarring contrast between the pink packaging and the boss's cold demeanor; the impact was akin to a female warrior wielding a small hammer and punching you in the chest.

Lin Cheng was puzzled. He had been following President Huo for five years, but he had never seen President Huo eat candy.

It's still the most common one on the market.

He suddenly had a flash of inspiration—

Isn't that the candy that Chaochao gave him yesterday?

Now that there's a boss, he's not unique anymore...

Lin Cheng was dejected.

For a moment, he forgot that Huo Qin was the father Chaochao had chosen.

Huo Qin was listening to an employee's work report when his phone rang. Seeing the caller ID on the screen, he paused, gestured for a break, and then answered the call.

The executives, left standing to the side, exchanged bewildered glances. The manager who had just been giving his report looked like he had just escaped a disaster; he was so nervous he could hardly breathe.

As a result, the group of executives watched in horror as President Huo, who was listening to the other party speak, first frowned and finally replied in a low voice.

"Okay, I understand. I'll be more careful next time."

The supervisor glared: "Isn't that supposed to be my line?! What am I supposed to say next?"

Which deity could make them see the shadow of a lowly office worker in President Huo?
