Chapter 13: The Little Dumpling Tames the Big Villain (A True Account)

Even if the little guy likes to eat gold, he can still build several more mines in Africa.

As it turns out, this little glutton didn't like eating gold, but it did love eating sweets.

In the afternoon, Chaochao pouted unhappily after having her last piece of candy taken away, and said aggrievedly, "Daddy said he would give me whatever I wanted to eat."

"Dad broke his promise!"

Huo Qin: "..."

Regarding the sudden attack on him about what he said at noon.

"You've already eaten five candies today, you can't have any more."

After saying that, fearing his tone might be too cold, he patiently explained, "Eating too much sugar will cause cavities."

"But I brush my teeth, they're very clean. Daddy, can I have another one?" Chaochao pleaded softly.

Huo Qin turned his face away, refusing to look into the little girl's watery eyes, and insisted, "No."

"Oh..." The little girl behind me responded dejectedly, and then fell silent.

Huo Qin frowned slightly. Was he angry?

After spending half a day mentally preparing himself, Mr. Huo, who had never coaxed anyone before, finally sighed softly as if in resignation.

He turned his head and asked, "Are you unhappy?"

Giving her another one wouldn't be a bad idea.

Then they saw the little girl look up in a panic, her left cheek suspiciously puffing out.

Huo Qin: "..."

Chaochao blinked guiltily, then quickly explained, "Daddy, listen to me—"

As a result, a candy accidentally rolled out of his mouth.

"Aww—my Tangtang!" Chaochao was struck dumb, and without bothering to argue, she collapsed onto the carpet, completely immersed in the grief of losing Tangtang.

Oh dear, that's her favorite peach flavor.

Chaochao picked up the candy, wrapped it in a tissue, and finally reluctantly threw it into the trash can.

After giving Tang Guo a proper burial, Chao Chao turned around and went to curry favor with Huo Qin, who wasn't left out.

She clung to Huo Qin's arm, her voice soft and sweet.

"Daddy, don't be angry. I really won't eat candy today."

Huo Qin glanced at her without saying a word, his tone indifferent.

"I'm not angry."

He scoffed inwardly. He wasn't a three-year-old child; why would he get angry over something like this?

"Really?" Chaochao asked doubtfully.

"Then give me a kiss, okay?"

Huo Qin thought he had misheard. "What?"

Chao Chao repeated herself, and Huo Qin tightened his jawline, replying decisively, "No."

How could he possibly have family?!

His voice was so cold and stern that it seemed there was no room for negotiation.

Chaochao wasn't buying it. She grumbled unhappily, "You won't give me candy, and you won't even let me kiss you."

The adults are really insensible.

Huo Qin's body stiffened.

Chaochao scrambled up from the sofa, straining to lift her chin, "Look—"

When her legs were sore from standing on tiptoe and she couldn't help but give up, Huo Qin quickly bent down and gently kissed her cheek.

Then she quickly sat up straight, as if nothing had happened, except that the tips of her ears turned suspiciously red.

The system is used to this; the terrifying villain in the original novel would never have any relatives.

But in the face of today's dynasties, that's not necessarily the case.

Chaochao smiled happily after getting the kiss she wanted. She pounced on him and gave him a big kiss on the cheek.

"Dad is awesome!"

Huo Qin: "?"
