Chapter 209 Appearing on TV and Hot Milk Tea

"Really? Where can I see it?"

Upon hearing this, Mr. and Mrs. Lin immediately put down what they were doing and looked at Lin Anshu.

"I asked, and it aired on the education channel around 7:40."

"Mom, search it on your phone."

"Oh, never mind, I'll just search on the computer. I can see the replay there, and it's faster."

After Lin Anshu finished speaking, she felt her throat was a little dry, so she thought she would go over and get a drink of water before going back to her room.

As a result, before she could even touch the water glass, she was urged by Lin's mother.

"An'an, didn't you say you were going to search for your sister on the computer? Hurry up, what are you dawdling for?"

“…Okay, let’s go.” Lin Anshu swallowed silently, got up and walked towards the computer in the room.

You can drink water anytime, but you have to see the older sister on TV right now.

"Sis, why are you still sweeping? Come on, let's go watch you on TV."

"Speaking of which, my sister, why didn't you tell us you were on TV?"

Lin Anshu pulled Lin Anqin and led him into the room.

“Someone interviewed me before and said that it would be broadcast on TV, but they didn’t say a specific time.”

“I was afraid that it might cause delays, so I didn’t tell you.”

Lin Anqin is rather conservative in nature.

She generally doesn't easily speak about things she's unsure of.

Because she felt that things that weren't specifically determined were subject to great uncertainty.

If you're unsure, just say it. But if something unexpected happens in the end, wouldn't that give people hope, only to shatter that hope with a single blow?

This kind of thing, where expectations are first raised and then not met, will definitely disappoint the person who hears it.

However, hearing his younger sister Lin Anshu say this now, Lin Anqin was quite happy.

She went to the frontier partly out of spite.

But later, in order to force herself out of that painful and disappointed mood, no one knows how much effort she put into her teaching.

No one knows how many nights she stayed up, how many books she read, how many notebooks she filled, how many pens she wore out, or how many tutoring classes she attended.

No one knows how much danger and hardship she went through in order to find a missing child who hadn't come to school.

No one knows how many brain cells she spent turning various knowledge points into songs, rhymes, and short stories in order to help those children grasp some knowledge more clearly.

As she put in more effort, she received corresponding rewards and genuinely fell in love with the job.

The children's affection for her became the driving force behind her continuous efforts.

She had a particularly unlucky time. First, she lost her phone and wallet, and then she was robbed by a motorcycle gang when she went out.

When she went to chase after her things, she tripped and fell, injuring her leg and twisting her ankle.

It just so happened that I had my period that day, and it was raining heavily.

The moment she fell to the ground, looking at her bleeding leg and feeling the cramps in her abdomen, she burst into tears amidst the torrential rain.

She was so upset and regretful.

Alone in a foreign land, even if she encountered something like this, she could only bear it all by herself.

She has no family or close friends here.

She could only swallow those grievances herself.

But that day, she had such a bad day.

I really couldn't hold it in any longer.

She cried desperately and was in great pain.

Just when she was in a bad mood, an umbrella suddenly appeared above her head.

He was an unfamiliar elementary school student from the border region.

The child looked to be about seven or eight years old, with big, deep-set eyes and a high, straight nose.

None of these matters.

Importantly, the child looked at her with eyes full of worry and concern.

"Sister, what's wrong?"

"Did you hurt your leg and it hurts a lot?"

"It's okay, just hang in there a little longer. Wipe your wound with some paper first, and I'll call you and take you to the hospital."

After the elementary school student finished speaking, he took out a pack of tissues from his schoolbag and stuffed it into her hand, then put the umbrella into her other hand.

Immediately afterwards, he ran out into the rain to the main road and waved to passing cars and pedestrians for help.

The rain was heavy, and some passing cars were driving very fast, splashing the elementary school students with the water that had accumulated on the roadside.

But he wasn't angry at all; instead, he anxiously continued to reach out to stop the car.

I tried to stop many cars, but none of them stopped.

The little boy would run over every now and then to comfort her, saying, "Sister, hang in there a little longer, I'll help you flag down a car soon."

After comforting her, he quickly ran over to continue flagging down cars.

He was soaked to the bone, and his slightly curly hair was wet and stuck to his head.

He even risked his life to block the car by reaching out his hand to help stop it.

What I got in return was the driver honking his horn and cursing.

Just then, a woman riding an electric scooter stopped and asked the little boy what was wrong.

The little boy pointed at her and started talking to the older sister.

Upon hearing this, the older sister immediately stopped her car and came over to inquire about her condition with concern.

Seeing that she had injured her leg and twisted her ankle, and hearing her say that she had just started her period and was all alone in a foreign place without any family to accompany her.

The older sister patted her head tenderly and said she would take her to the hospital right away.

Just as the older sister was carrying her to the car, a police car on duty stopped by the roadside.

After the police officers got out of the police car and inquired about the situation, they had the older woman help Lin Anqin into the car and take her to the nearest hospital.
