Chapter 327: Compensation? Just your worthless life?

After drinking a cup of Hu tea, the wife of the Marquis of Xinyang was the first to praise it: "It is worthy of being the Hu tea brought by the princess. It tastes very delicious."

Molan sneered, "Really? It's even more delicious than the meat you fed your adopted sister?"

Upon hearing this, the wife of the Marquis of Xinyang trembled and the teacup in her hand fell to the ground with a bang.

The wife of Dalang from the Xinyang Marquis's Mansion hurried forward to help him, but she had no strength left and could not get up at all.

With a clang, Molan pulled a dagger from her sleeve and slowly opened the dagger's sheath. Holding the dagger in her hand, she smiled slightly and said, "What did you say when you first proposed to marry her, Lady Xinyang? Hmm?"

The wife of the Marquis of Xinyang collapsed on the ground and stammered, "Say, I will treat Xiaoliang like my own daughter."

With a sizzling sound, the Xinyang Marquis's heart was stabbed by the dagger. Unable to struggle, she could only watch as Molan coldly thrust the dagger in and out.

Only after stabbing the wife of Marquis Xinyang more than a dozen times and leaving her body covered in blood, did Molan wipe her face and stand up.

The eldest son's wife was so frightened that she could smell a fishy smell coming from under her body.

The concubine leaning on the chair widened her almond-shaped eyes, trembling with fear. Seeing Molan's half-smile, she shrank her neck in fear, fell sideways, and closed her eyes.

The eldest son of the Marquis of Xinyang swallowed his saliva with forced composure and said, "Princess, why are you doing this? If our mansion has let down your second brother and his wife, we can make amends."

Molan turned around, grinning with a bloodied face, and said, "Kill for your life, compensation? Just your worthless life?"

An hour later, the room was a river of blood. The three members of the Marquis's family lay in the bloody ground, leaving only the concubine, who had pretended to be unconscious. Molan kicked her, but the concubine didn't move. Only when Molan's foot hurt her did the concubine open her eyes slightly, then quickly close them again.

Molan took the hot handkerchief that Li'er handed her, wiped the blood off her face, and said, "If you don't open your eyes, I will cut you into pieces."

The next moment, the concubine opened her eyes. Molan stared at her slightly red almond-shaped eyes, chuckled softly, and said something extremely cruel: "Only by being cut into pieces can I relieve my hatred and avenge my mother."

After saying this, he watched the concubine turn pale with fear, and then cry out for mercy. His heart was getting sadder because his mother was gone because of this lowly woman.

She turned to look out the window, only to see the snowflakes falling even harder. The white snow was so cold it felt like it was penetrating her bones. But it felt like she was the only one left in this world.

When she came to her senses, Molan was already sitting in the carriage, and the concubine was being dragged by the horse to Prince Wen's mansion.

Before nightfall, the last scrap of flesh was cut off the woman's body. The concubine who had caused the Second Young Master of Xinyang to favor her over his wife breathed her last.

Before she died, the concubine stared at Molan intently, as if she wanted to bite off a piece of her flesh.

Molan sat aside, watching the man holding the knife, humming a Jiangnan tune, and silently watching the bloody scene.

Jiang Daqiang came in and picked up the debris on the ground, wrapped it up and took it to a house. He threw the bones in. A moment later, bursts of dog barking were heard in the house.

Molan stood alone in front of Lin Qinshuang's coffin until it was completely dark. Then she wiped the tears from her face and turned away.
