"What have you always liked?" Xu Tingchuan asked her as he stopped at a traffic light.
Ni Sitian's cheeks grew increasingly red, and she was speechless.
Xu Tingchuan deliberately asked, "So you still like Qin Mubei?"
"No, the person I've always liked is you." Ni Sitian retorted rather strongly, afraid of being misunderstood.
After saying that, her cheeks turned bright red, she lowered her head, and her fingers twisted together.
Xu Tingchuan was stunned by her sudden confession. If it weren't for the horn of the car behind them, he probably would have pounced on her on the spot.
He turned around and reached out to hold Ni Sitian's hand tightly in his palm.
Ni Sitian was incredibly shy, her ears turning bright red. She bit her lip in annoyance, regretting that she had blurted it out.
She originally intended to keep it a secret from him. He didn't know how much she used to like Cotton Candy Brother and how he had treated her. If he knew that he was her true first love, wouldn't that make him even more unscrupulous in treating her like that?
"Ni Sitian, repeat what you just said." Xu Tingchuan gripped the steering wheel tightly, his voice slightly strained, his eyes fixed on the road ahead, as if he were focused on driving.
"I didn't say anything," Ni Sitian denied shamelessly.
Xu Tingchuan drove the car into the Xu family compound. After stopping the car, Ni Sitian was about to unbuckle her seatbelt and get out when Xu Tingchuan leaned over and used his arms to trap her between the seat back and him.
"What are you doing?" Ni Sitian felt him getting very close, his eyes were deep and mesmerizing, and he was unbelievably handsome. She blushed and shrank back.
"Explain what you just said clearly." Xu Tingchuan's hand went through the back of her neck, his large hand gripping her neck, not allowing her to back down.
"You, let me go first, we're already here." Ni Sitian was afraid that he might really do something in the car, and then she would be too ashamed to face her in-laws.
“Tell me first, and I’ll let you go. Otherwise, if you stall for a minute, I’ll kiss you once a day until you tell the truth.” Xu Tingchuan felt he couldn’t miss this opportunity; he felt he would hear the answer he longed for.
"You're shameless..." Ni Sitian had barely finished saying this when her lips were kissed.
Xu Tingchuan kept his word and kissed her lips passionately for a while. After releasing her, he asked in a hoarse voice, "Are you going to tell me or not?"
Ni Sitian thought to herself that if she didn't speak up, she probably wouldn't be able to face anyone.
After hesitating for a long time, she finally muttered to herself, "I guess I had bad taste when I was young. I liked some liar and thought he would come back, but he never did."
He coaxed her into eating the cotton candy and then left without her noticing. He was really wicked; he had no idea how long she had been standing on the street crying.
"Then what about Qin Mubei? You said you would always like him, but you changed your mind halfway through," Xu Tingchuan asked, pressing his advantage.
“That’s because…” Ni Sitian didn’t dare to look at him, her cheeks flushed, and she whispered, “Because of someone’s influence, I like boys who have a good smile.”
She felt she would remember the smile he gave her when he waved from the bus.
"Ni Sitian." Xu Tingchuan pinched her chin, turned her face and lifted it up, looking deeply into her eyes.
Ni Sitian swallowed subconsciously. In his dark eyes, she saw only herself. Before she could react, his lips covered hers in a fierce, passionate, even frantic kiss.
In the end, her lips were no longer presentable.
