Xu Tingchuan smiled, took her hand, and simply lowered his head to kiss her slender fingers. Then he looked up and smiled, "They worked hard last night."
Ni Sitian's cheeks flushed bright red. She quickly withdrew her finger and scolded, "Can't you be serious for once?"
Xu Tingchuan coughed, straightened his back, and looked down at her. "Is this proper enough?"
Ni Sitian rolled her eyes at him helplessly and walked into the house.
Xu Tingchuan quickly caught up and put his arm around Ni Sitian's shoulder.
They stayed at the Xu family mansion until noon, and after lunch, the two headed back to the city.
Ni Sitian suddenly remembered that she wanted to see Zhi Lan first, so the two of them went to the city hospital.
After Xu Tingchuan took Ni Sitian to the hospital, he received a call saying he had to rush over there for something. Ni Sitian told him to go ahead and that she would go home by herself later.
Xu Tingchuan kissed her forehead, helped her out of the car, watched her get inside, and then drove away.
When Ni Sitian entered the ward, Shen Muzhi was not there; instead, a nurse was taking care of Xiang Zhilan.
"I'm leaving tomorrow. Why are you coming so often? It's nothing serious. Just be careful with your stomach, don't be careless." Xiang Zhilan had already decided to leave for the time being. She was also at ease with her parents. Now that they were both retired, they were in good health and could take care of each other.

Ni Sitian stared at Zhi Lan's face with a serious expression.
"Why are you looking at me like that?" Xiang Zhilan suddenly thought that since she remembered, she might know that the woman downstairs was Su Yan, and that she might have seen through her desire to leave.
Ni Sitian glanced at the nurse, and Xiang Zhilan knew what she meant, so she told the nurse to go out and buy something.
After the two of them were left alone in the ward, Ni Sitian asked earnestly and worriedly, "Zhilan, what exactly happened to you? I felt something was wrong yesterday when I was confused, and I just had to ask you about it today. I feel very uneasy."
