Chapter 1054 Daily Life of a Couple

In the end, the vote was unanimously passed. As long as Jin Rulan's body could still bear childbirth, they had no objections.

"What are you laughing at? You're laughing so strangely." Xu Tingchuan brought out a bowl of noodles with gravy and placed it on the dining table.

Ni Sitian put down her knitting needles, got up and walked to the dining table, her smile still barely contained: "I'm thinking about whether I should knit a hat for that child too."

She really didn't know what to call the child, who was even smaller than the one in her belly. Should she call him her brother-in-law or her second sister-in-law?

"Why don't you think of knitting one for me?" Xu Tingchuan finished mixing Ni Sitian's food and handed her the chopsticks.

"Your head is too big, it'll take me forever to knit this." Ni Sitian took the chopsticks and started eating her noodles.

"I'm not afraid to wait." Xu Tingchuan sat opposite her and, seeing her eating so quickly, said, "Slow down, be careful it's hot."

"I won't embarrass myself by showing off," Ni Sitian said, blowing on the noodles to cool them down.

"An excuse? You're afraid of making a fool of yourself when it comes to the kids?"

“A child doesn’t dislike their mother for being ugly, so how could they dislike the food their mother makes?” Ni Sitian said, slurping her noodles.

Xu Tingchuan sighed helplessly. It seemed she was determined not to cook for him. "I've noticed you're getting more and more eloquent."

"You become like the company you keep, so of course I have to become smarter and smarter as your wife." Ni Sitian smiled, the corners of her mouth curving upwards.

Xu Tingchuan chuckled and shook his head, then got up and went to the kitchen to wash the pot first.

After Ni Sitian finished eating her noodles, she took the bowl inside for him to wash, and stood by his side to keep him company.

I secretly looked up at him, and my heart felt sweet; it felt so good.

"Ni Sitian, you peeked at me eight times just now," Xu Tingchuan said, wiping the bowl without looking at her.

"If you don't peek at me, how will you know I'm peeking at you?" Ni Sitian stuck out her little tongue.

Xu Tingchuan turned his head and quickly kissed her naughty little tongue, put down the bowl and dishcloth, and held the back of her head with his large hand, deepening the kiss.

Ni Sitian's tongue was numb from his kisses. She leaned against him, panting, and lightly punched him: "Washing dishes, huh? Don't be so serious."

Xu Tingchuan took her hand and kissed her fist, which was the most proper thing for him to do.

"It's been a week already," he said softly, his voice tinged with a hint of grievance.

"It's only been a week," Ni Sitian said reproachfully.

"Don't you miss me, hmm?" Xu Tingchuan wrapped his arms around Ni Sitian's slightly plump waist, his voice rising at the end as usual.

Ni Sitian's face flushed red. She lowered her head and whispered reproachfully, "When you see me, is this the only thing you can think about all day?"

"Who said that? I've thought about it a lot." Xu Tingchuan leaned close to her ear and whispered, "Do you want me to tell you everything one by one?"

Ni Sitian figured it wouldn't be anything nice, so she tilted her head slightly and snorted, "I don't want to hear it."

"That's a real pity." Xu Tingchuan touched Ni Sitian's earlobe and said in a low, husky voice, "In that case, shall we still do that thing?"

Ni Sitian broke free from his embrace, glared at him playfully, and walked out.

Xu Tingchuan cleaned up the mess, then went into the bedroom and closed the door.

"Are you serious?" Ni Sitian's voice rang out from inside.

"Is this even possible?"

"Be gentle, be gentle, I'm so angry...this is your child..."

"It's still mine."

"Ugh...you...you...you're so shameless! Is this place even allowed to be used like that?!"
