"Xu Tingchuan!" Ni Sitian snapped, pinching his arm hard.
Xu Tingchuan deliberately gasped, "You said it yourself, I just agreed with it."
"Xu Tingchuan! You're packing your bags and getting out tonight!" Ni Sitian said angrily, getting up and walking out.
"Are you really angry?" Xu Tingchuan hugged her from behind.
Ni Sitian was startled; this was in public, after all. She quickly pried his hand off and broke free.
Xu Tingchuan understood his wife's shy nature, so he didn't force her. Instead, he took her hand, raised it to his lips, and kissed it: "You're jealous of a little girl? She's just a child."
Ni Sitian snorted. Li Yiqing looked to be seventeen or eighteen, only four or five years younger than her. She was hardly a child.
"Okay, I was just teasing you. You're clearly prettier, more feminine, and have a better figure." Xu Tingchuan held Ni Sitian's hand tightly and led her slowly outside.
"You're just trying to flatter me. I don't even have a waist anymore." Ni Sitian looked down at her protruding belly and pouted.
“But…” Xu Tingchuan lowered his head, leaned close to her ear, and whispered with a smile, “You have breasts.”
Ni Sitian's ears turned red instantly, and she glared at her outspoken husband.
Xu Tingchuan laughed heartily. Seeing that her face had turned red from the amusement, her complexion improved somewhat, and he opened the car door to let her in.
Ni Sitian sat in the passenger seat, fastening her seatbelt as she asked, "How did you get here so quickly?"
Li Yinan must have made the call while she was seeing a doctor, which should have taken about ten minutes. Xu Tingchuan's company is at least a half-hour drive from here.

"I'm fine now, but you should hurry back," Ni Sitian said quickly, afraid that she would delay his work. She remembered that he had called her at noon earlier today and said that he had something important to do that night and wouldn't be home for dinner.
“The dinner was pretty much settled, so it’s okay if you don’t go. I’ll take you home first; I have to go out tonight.” Xu Tingchuan started the car, then suddenly remembered something and asked in confusion, “Didn’t you say you were going to stay home and write a script all day? Why are you going out? It’s below zero today.”
When Ni Sitian heard Xu Tingchuan ask this, her eyes darkened, and she lowered her head, fiddling with her fingers.
"What's wrong?" Xu Tingchuan asked worriedly, noticing that something was wrong with her.
“Ni Qianshan was arrested by the police. The police called me and told me to come over.” Ni Sitian didn’t know how to bring up the fact that she was an illegitimate child, so she just pursed her lips and said, “After I was questioned, I met Ni Qianshan. He said he was framed by He Cuiyun and Ni Ziqi. Now those two have run away, and I think…”
Seeing her hesitate, Xu Tingchuan continued, "After all, he is your father. You can't bear to completely ignore him. You want to help him, right?"
