Li Yiqing was quite satisfied with this statement and nodded, saying, "Yinan and I will definitely be mutually in love."
Ni Sitian smiled slightly, and the two chatted for a while longer. After finishing their afternoon tea, she naturally couldn't let a young girl pay the bill, so she handed the cash to the waiter first.
“Then I must invite you back next time,” Li Yiqing said with a sincere smile, without any hesitation.
“Okay.” Ni Sitian nodded and picked up her bag.
Li Yiqing offered to take her home, and there was no reason for her to refuse, so she got into the Bentley.
He waved goodbye to Li Yiqing outside the residential area and went inside.
Li Yiqing had her bodyguard drive away. She hadn't gone far when her phone rang. It was Li Yinan calling. She immediately answered happily, "Brother Yinan."
"Have you had enough fun outside? It's so cold, hurry home." Li Yinan's voice was deep and his tone was indifferent.
"Oh, I'll be right back. I want cola chicken wings tonight. Have the chef make them." Li Yiqing ignored his cold tone and said coquettishly, hanging up the phone immediately before he could agree.
Li Yinan shook his head helplessly. Li Yinuo looked at her brother and couldn't help but smile, "Brother, I think you should just give in to Second Sister."
"Don't talk nonsense, little kid. She's your older sister, and I'm your younger sister." Li Yinan's face darkened slightly. He had watched Li Yiqing grow up, and his role was that of both brother and father. How could he have such thoughts?
“We’re not related by blood,” Li Yinuo muttered.
"Arno, did you get your shot today?" Li Yinan changed the subject.
Li Yinuo lowered his head. Li Yinan got up and went out. After a while, he came back with a box, squatted down next to Li Yinuo's wheelchair, disinfected his arm, and skillfully gave him the injection.
His arms were covered in needle marks, and his skin was so thin and pale it was almost transparent.
"Arno, you're not allowed to be willful anymore. You must inject insulin every day," Li Yinan said sternly.
"I understand." Li Yinuo nodded.
Li Yinan felt sorry for him because he was so young yet so well-behaved, but there was nothing he could do. He had type 1 diabetes and had to take insulin for the rest of his life.
If Arno hadn't overheard him, he would never have brought him along. But since he had no choice but to bring him, he had to take good care of him for that person.
"Let me take you for a walk in the yard." Li Yinan pushed Li Yinuo's wheelchair out.
Ni Sitian returned home and, seeing that it was still early, sent a text message to Xu Tingchuan asking if he was coming home for dinner. After receiving an affirmative answer, she went into the kitchen to cook.
Since becoming pregnant, Xu Tingchuan has not let her do anything, and she hasn't cooked for several months, so her cooking skills have become rusty.
Her skill level was already mediocre, and now it's even worse. She made it and even after tasting it herself, she felt it was barely palatable.
Xu Tingchuan returned just as he brought out the tray to serve the dishes.
As soon as he opened the door, he smelled the aroma of food. The room was warmly lit, and his wife stood by the dining table, smiling at him.
This is the happiest thing in life. He smiled back at Ni Sitian, changed into slippers, and came in.
"Go wash your hands first. I made all your favorite dishes today as a reward for your hard work at the end of the year," Ni Sitian said while serving the rice.
Xu Tingchuan took off his coat, walked over, put his arm around her shoulder, kissed her first, and then went inside to wash his hands.
