"The time has come, the bride needs to go now," the bride's assistant said to Xu Jiayue with a smile.
Several bridesmaids helped Xu Jiayue lift the hem of her dress, and she opened the door to leave the room.
Pei Yang reached out and pulled Xu Jiayue back, leaving the others outside.
"What are you doing!" Xu Jiayue was pinned against the door, glaring at him angrily.
"You cannot marry Han Shizhao!" Pei Yang said in a deep voice.
"It's too late to talk about this now. The oath is in five minutes. And why can't I marry him?" Xu Jiayue pushed Pei Yang's chest away, turned around, and pressed the doorknob to open the door.
"Because he doesn't like women!" Pei Yang said with a stern face.
Xu Jiayue paused, released her grip on the doorknob, and turned back to look at Pei Yang in disbelief.
Pei Yang took out his phone and pulled up the photo, which showed Han Shizhao being kissed by a man pinned against a tree.
These photos were taken in quick succession. Han Se-jo was first kissed by the man, and then she turned around and pinned the man against the tree trunk, kissing him intensely.
“This is…” Xu Jiayue’s hand trembled, unable to believe what she was seeing.
Pei Yang then showed the video again, showing Han Shizhao and that man in the apartment elevator, having gone so far as to do something beyond kissing, their heavy breathing unbearable to hear.
Xu Jiayue's face turned deathly pale instantly. Even her elaborate bridal makeup couldn't hide her ashen complexion. It wasn't that she was overwhelmed by the shock, but rather that the incident was simply too horrifying.

Jia Yue paused slightly, about to turn back, when she was ushered into the banquet hall by the bride's assistant and several bridesmaids.
Pei Yang clenched her fist. Was this it? Was she still going to marry Han Shizhao?
No, he couldn't let her do such a foolish thing.
Pei Yang strode into the banquet hall. Xu Jiayue had already gone up to the proclamation platform. He was about to go up and pull her down when he heard her loudly reply to the priest, "I do not wish to."
