Xu Jiayue ran back in surprise, exclaiming repeatedly, "This is incredible! This is incredible! Xu Ziyu, you're defying the heavens!"
Ni Sitian also found this too amazing, and said with some uncertainty, "It should just be a coincidence, how could anyone hear that?"
"It can't be a coincidence. Tuantuan can even solve a Rubik's Cube! Most kids are at least three years old when they start playing with it, and even then, they might not be able to solve all six sides! It's not surprising that he can hear a car sound!" Xu Jiayue picked up Tuantuan and happily gave him a math problem.
Ni Sitian frowned. He might be able to solve Rubik's Cubes and listen to sounds with talent, but he needed to learn math first, like addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. Otherwise, how could he understand it?
As expected, Tuan Tuan stared blankly at Xu Jiayue, as if she were saying something stupid that he couldn't understand at all.
Xu Tingchuan entered the room and saw Ni Sitian and Xu Jiayue talking to Tuantuan while holding her. He smiled faintly and asked, "What are you talking about that makes you so happy?"
"Brother, your son is a genius!" Xu Jiayue told Xu Tingchuan about the amazing thing that had just happened.
"Did he call me 'Dad'?" Xu Tingchuan strode over, quite regretful that he hadn't heard his son's first "Dad".
“Yes, Tuantuan, call me again,” Ni Sitian coaxed her son.
"Daddy." Tuantuan was quite obedient.
Xu Tingchuan took Tuantuan, gave her a big kiss, and was overjoyed.
"Tuantuan, call your auntie," Ni Sitian coaxed him again.
"Goo..." Tuan Tuan could only make this one sound.
Xu Jiayue was already very satisfied. She pinched Tuantuan's little cheeks and then left without disturbing the family.
Xu Tingchuan put Tuantuan on the bed, and Tuantuan immediately crawled towards her mother and lay down on her mother's lap.
Ni Sitian held his armpits, lifted her leg to play with him, and Tuantuan kept laughing.
“Jia Yue was exaggerating just now. I think there was an element of coincidence,” Ni Sitian said to Xu Tingchuan, who was loosening his tie and taking off his coat.
“What’s the coincidence? It’s not surprising that my son is really that smart.” Xu Tingchuan hung up his coat, sat down next to the mother and son, and said, “If you knew about my glorious deeds when I was a child, you would think it’s very normal for him to be like this.”
Ni Sitian suppressed a laugh and secretly stuck out her tongue. This man, at his age, still wanted to compare who was smarter when they were young with his son.
"You don't believe me?" Xu Tingchuan raised an eyebrow.
"Of course I believe it. Graduating with a PhD from an Ivy League university at 22, he must have been extraordinary as a child," Ni Sitian complimented.
Xu Tingchuan patted her head with satisfaction. Of course, he had to be the most capable person in his wife's eyes, and he absolutely couldn't let his son take that position.
Tuantuan realized that his father was competing with him for his mother's attention, so he immediately climbed into Ni Sitian's arms and called out "Mama".
Ni Sitian lowered her head, her attention naturally returning to the little dumpling.
Xu Tingchuan wanted to bring the little guy back, which resulted in him holding onto Ni Sitian even tighter.
"Why are you jealous of the child?" Ni Sitian hugged the little dumpling and scolded Xu Tingchuan playfully.
Tuantuan won another great victory, burying her little head in her mother's neck as if they were very affectionate.
Ni Sitian lowered her head and kissed Tuantuan's forehead. Just as she was about to speak to Xu Tingchuan again, her phone, which was on the bedside table, rang.
Ni Sitian handed Tuantuan to Xu Tingchuan and then reached for her phone.
Xu Tingchuan glanced at the caller ID on the screen, puzzled, and then looked away.
