Tonight, Xu Jiayue had been stared at like that many times, and she felt very strange.

Xu Jiayue realized what was happening, raised her hand to push him away, covered her lips, and stared at him with wide eyes.
“You don’t hate it, right?” Pei Yang smiled, the corners of his mouth curving upwards.
Xu Jiayue's eyes flickered; rather than dislike, she seemed at a loss.
"It's a new year, aren't you going to give me a response to that confession?" Pei Yang reached out and smoothed her unruly hair, speaking in a low, earnest voice.
Xu Jiayue's eyes flickered; she was really not used to Pei Yang being so serious.
