"Don't worry, it's nothing serious. It's just some old ailment. The doctor just suggested I be hospitalized for a checkup," Ni Sitian quickly reassured her, afraid she would be anxious after coming all this way.
"I'm coming right away." Xiang Zhilan was anxious, and hung up the phone after saying that.
Luo Che, holding Xiao Kui in one arm and pushing the luggage with the other, noticed Xiang Zhilan's drastic change in expression and quickly asked, "What's wrong?"
"My mom is sick, I need to go to the hospital right away." Xiang Zhilan looked at Hengheng and Xiao Kui sitting on the suitcase. Both children had just finished a long flight and looked very tired. She then said to Luo Che, "You and Uncle De take Xiao Kui and Hengheng back to rest first."
As Xiang Zhilan spoke, she took out a set of keys, handed them to Luo Che, and gave him an address.
Before Luo Che could say anything, Xiang Zhilan left in a hurry. He watched her back and smiled helplessly and gently. He hugged Xiao Kui tightly and walked away with Uncle De.
Xiang Zhilan rushed to the city hospital.

She sat in the corridor outside the ward for about two hours before looking at Zhi Lan as she came out.
“Zhi Lan…” Ni Sitian stood up, smiling at her, her eyes brimming with tears, but she didn’t let them fall.
Xiang Zhilan gave her a big smile, strode over, and hugged her. "Long time no see."
"Long time no see," Ni Sitian said with a wry smile, turning around to hug her.
The two embraced for a long time before separating, gazing at each other quietly, just as they had done when they parted.
Ni Sitian couldn't hold back her tears any longer. She wiped them away with the back of her hand, her lips trembling as she said, "You're back. It's so good."
Xiang Zhilan smiled through her tears and said reproachfully, "You're a mother now, why are you crying like a child?"
Ni Sitian smiled as she stopped crying and looked closely at Xiang Zhilan.
She changed her hairstyle; it was a rare black medium-length style with some casual, natural curls. She looked radiant, as if she wasn't wearing makeup. Her lips were bright red, her skin was fair and white, and her cheeks had a rosy glow.
"How can you get younger and more beautiful every day? Do you even want people to live?" Ni Sitian said with a smile.
"There's nothing I can do about it, I'm naturally beautiful." Xiang Zhilan flicked her hair back, quite narcissistic, then looked at Ni Sitian's cheek, reached out and pinched it, saying, "I think you're getting fatter and fatter, you're almost getting a double chin."
Ni Sitian laughed and slapped her hand away, glaring at her playfully: "It's so cold, how can you get through winter without stocking up on fat!"
Xiang Zhilan clicked her tongue twice: "You've hoarded way too much."
"Xiang Zhilan!" Ni Sitian reached out to pinch her.
Xiang Zhilan laughed and dodged away, and the two of them playfully wrestled for a while.
After being warned by the nurse, the two suppressed their laughter and sat down on the bench.
"Is it just you who came back? What about the children?" Ni Sitian asked the crucial question after she had calmed down.
