After the father and son finished their heart-to-heart talk and played for a while, it gradually got dark, so they went upstairs together.
The person who opened the door was Luo Che. Shen Muzhi saw a large suitcase next to his legs, as if he was preparing to go on a long trip.

Shen Muzhi led Hengheng into the house, and Xiang Zhilan followed them in, closing the door behind them.
"You were lying to me, weren't you?" Shen Muzhi asked in a low voice after letting Hengheng sit on the carpet to look at the picture book, then followed Xiang Zhilan into the kitchen.
After pouring the water, Xiang Zhilan took a sip. At this point, she couldn't keep up the lie any longer, so she simply admitted, "Yes, A-Che is just pursuing me."
The pent-up frustration that had been building up in Shen Muzhi over the past few days finally dissipated. He reached out to grasp Zhi Lan's hand, which was hanging on the kitchen counter, but before he could touch her, she dodged away.
"I think you should understand why I said that. I lied to you because I didn't want to be involved with you anymore." Xiang Zhilan raised her eyes, her expression once again cold and indifferent.
“But you also know I won’t give up so easily.” Shen Muzhi withdrew his hand, staring into her eyes, his determination unwavering.
"Whatever." Xiang Zhilan knew he couldn't be reasoned with, so she simply gave up on arguing with him and continued to drink the hot water in her cup.
"There's something about Hengheng that I'd like to talk to you about," Shen Muzhi said, glancing at Hengheng in the living room.
Xiang Zhilan looked puzzled, her eyebrows twitching slightly.
Shen Muzhi then relayed what Hengheng had said downstairs to her, and finally said, "This is my fault. It's really hard for you to take care of two children all by yourself. I'll live across the street from now on, so I can come and visit the children every day."
