Chapter 125 Replenishing Her Blood

Ni Sitian reached out from under the sheets and awkwardly put on her clothes.

When I got out of bed, my lower back was sore and weak, so I rubbed it with my hands.

After leaving the bedroom and washing up in the bathroom, she saw Xu Tingchuan setting the table and walked over with small steps.

After last night, something seemed different between them; she now felt shy whenever their eyes met.

I felt completely open and naked in front of him.

The intimacy that followed sharing their bodies made her feel a little lost, and she wondered if Xu Tingchuan felt the same way.

However, he seemed much calmer and more composed than she was, as if he had already returned to his usual self.

However, his face always seemed to have a gentle, warm smile.

Is doing this really that good?

As Ni Sitian thought about it, her cheeks flushed again.

After Xu Tingchuan finished setting out the dishes, he saw Ni Sitian slowly walking over, so he went over, put his hand on her waist, and chuckled softly, "Is your back sore?"

Ni Sitian glared at him and snorted twice: "It's all because of you!"

"Mrs. Xu, I'll take that as a compliment." Xu Tingchuan smiled, his eyes crinkling.

When it comes to shamelessness, Ni Sitian is no match for him. She turned her head away from him, but the corners of her mouth were also infected by his smile, and she couldn't help but smile up.

Xu Tingchuan thought Ni Sitian was incredibly cute, so he put his arm around her neck and leaned down to plant a big kiss on her cheek.

Ni Sitian blushed shyly, looking like a shy young wife.

"Let's eat." Xu Tingchuan led her to the dining table, pulled out a chair for her, and placed a cotton cushion on it.

She looked at the cotton pad, feeling both amused and exasperated. Although she was a little uncomfortable, it wasn't that serious. Anyone who didn't know better would think she had broken her tailbone.

However, his thoughtfulness warmed her heart, like a gentle hot spring flowing through her.

She sat down, and he set out the bowls and chopsticks for her, and served her soup.

"Have some to warm your stomach first." Xu Tingchuan placed the small soup bowl beside her and reminded her, "Be careful, it's hot."

Ni Sitian glanced at the bright red soup, scooped up a spoonful, blew on it to cool it down, and looked up at Xu Tingchuan with some confusion.

Xu Tingchuan smiled slightly and explained, "This is Three Red Soup, made with red dates, red beans, and peanuts. You bled a little yesterday, so this is for replenishing your blood."

Ni Sitian choked on her soup after taking a sip, her face turning bright red.

She didn't need any blood transfusions after losing so little blood yesterday!

And that's...that's...

She stopped choking, glared at him, and realized he was doing it on purpose!

"Drink slowly, no rush, it's all yours." Xu Tingchuan suppressed a laugh and gently patted her back.

Ni Sitian's face turned as red as an apple as she buried her head in her food and soup.

After dinner, Xu Tingchuan took the initiative to wash the dishes, settled her on the sofa, and even cut a plate of fruit for her.

Being taken care of so tenderly made Ni Sitian feel a little embarrassed. She wondered if men would become especially gentle when they were satisfied in this aspect.

But if she has to keep paying this price, she can't take it. Sooner or later, she'll break her back.

Logically speaking, he should be the one who did the hard work, and he should be the oldest, so how come she's the one who's exhausted while he's full of energy?

After Xu Tingchuan finished washing the dishes, he came out and saw Ni Sitian lost in thought. He walked over, sat down next to her, pulled her into his arms, and casually asked, "What are you thinking about?"

Ni Sitian snapped out of her reverie, blushing at her own wild thoughts, and turned her head away, mumbling something indistinctly.
