Chapter 130 In a Good Mood

Ji Xiaoyun turned her chair towards Ni Sitian, smiling broadly, winked at her, and said ambiguously, "Sitian, you and your boyfriend are so sweet together."

Ni Sitian blushed slightly and awkwardly adjusted her scarf, afraid that someone would notice something amiss.

"I just saw you two hugging downstairs. You're so reluctant to part ways even when you're going to work," Ji Xiaoyun teased, adding with a touch of emotion, "It makes me want to fall in love."

fall in love?

Ni Sitian was stunned for a moment. Did she and Xu Tingchuan seem to be dating?

"You're already so happy, why don't you leave President Qin to me?" Ji Xiaoyun smoothed her hair and tentatively asked.

Ni Sitian's smile faded, she frowned, and said to Ji Xiaoyun seriously, "I have nothing to do with him."

Ji Xiaoyun blinked innocently, "But I heard from President Qin that he and you used to date. I was afraid you would mind, so I wanted to let you know in advance."

Ni Sitian frowned even more deeply, wondering what Qin Mubei was up to.

"Sitian, why don't you share your experience? Since you already have someone else, stop stringing Qin Mubei along." Ji Xiaoyun reached out and grabbed Ni Sitian's hand, shaking it gently.

Ni Sitian felt very uncomfortable hearing her words, as if she were a seasoned player in the dating game, wanting to have her cake and eat it too.

Even if she were slow to notice, she could sense the hidden barb in Ji Xiaoyun's words. She pulled her hand away and coldly replied, "If you like her, you can go after her yourself. You don't need to say these things to me."

Ji Xiaoyun's expression froze, and she gave an awkward laugh: "I didn't mean anything by it, don't misunderstand."

Ni Sitian stared at Ji Xiaoyun for a while, then said calmly, "Not everyone in this world is a fool, and you're the only shrewd one."

"I don't understand what you're saying." Ji Xiaoyun's smile became forced.

"Did you really think I didn't know what was going on with that information last time? I just didn't want to expose it because we're both interns." Ni Sitian's words were meant to be a test, but Ji Xiaoyun's expression changed, confirming her suspicions.

She looked away and continued packing her things.

Ji Xiaoyun looked at Ni Sitian with a dark expression, bit her lower lip, and turned her chair back without saying a word.

Ni Sitian didn't care what she was thinking. Anyway, she was going to the 18th floor that afternoon, and there would be little contact between them afterward.

She spent the entire morning handing over her work and packing, and didn't even have time to eat the breakfast that Xu Tingchuan had specially bought for her.

As soon as lunch break started, she couldn't wait to take her sandwich and milk to the microwave in the break room to heat them up.

Two minutes later, I sat at the table in the tea room, tore open the packaging bag, and took big bites.

This was the first time she had ever found a sandwich so delicious that she didn't even feel any aversion to the lettuce she usually disliked.

Perhaps it was because she was too hungry, or perhaps it was because he bought it for her...

"Sitian, you're so happy even eating a sandwich," a colleague said with a smile as she came in to pour water.

Ni Sitian then realized that the corners of her mouth had been turned up the whole time. She picked up her milk and took a sip to cover it up, but she couldn't help but smile.

She didn't know what was wrong with her; she was just in a good mood and wanted to laugh all the time.

As she took another bite of her sandwich, her phone rang. Seeing that it was Xu Tingchuan calling, she immediately picked it up.
