Chapter 1310 I'll Tell You to Get Lost

Ni Sitian turned around and chased after Xiang Zhilan.

Shen Muzhi watched them safely cross the road and hail a taxi before his brows furrowed and he clutched his stomach.

I don't know if it's because of my stomach, but I'm having such severe heart pain that I can hardly breathe.

"Muzhi, are you alright?" Bai Yutong nervously grabbed Shen Muzhi's arm, watching his face grow increasingly pale, his lips losing all color.

Shen Muzhi pulled his arm away and said calmly, "Go back."

"How can I go back looking like this?" Bai Yutong grabbed him again and said seriously, "Come on, let's go to the hospital."

"Bai Yutong, are you sick?! I told you to get out!" Shen Muzhi pulled his arm away again, bent down and picked up the short boot.

Bai Yutong was stunned. Although he had always been cold to her, he had never been so rude before. She asked worriedly, "What happened?"

"Is it like Ni Sitian said, that you had a chance to explain earlier, but she stormed off, and only then did you come out and pretend to be a good guy?" Shen Muzhi had obviously figured it out, but he didn't really need her to explain. Since she herself didn't explain, the reason might be: "Heh, you like me?"

"You're crazy! Who likes you! Only a lunatic would like you!" Bai Yutong retorted, her face pale, her heart pounding and her words jumbled: "You're the one who drove her away, and now you're blaming her? You're the one who's crazy!"

After she finished speaking, she turned and strode away, a self-deprecating smile on her lips, her eyes reddening.

Shen Muzhi's stomach was in excruciating pain, so he turned and walked towards the car.

When Ah Chao noticed that his husband's gait was abnormal, he immediately got out of the car and rushed over to help Shen Muzhi.

Shen Mu got into the car, leaned back in the seat, pressed one hand against his stomach, and gripped the shoe tightly with the other.

"Go to the city hospital." He spoke with some difficulty, and became slightly out of breath after saying just a few words.

Ah Chao immediately drove to the city hospital while contacting the hospital staff.

The taxi that Xiang Zhilan and Ni Sitian got into was going in the opposite direction from them. Xiang Zhilan had a taut, frosty face and didn't say a word from the moment she got in the car.

After thinking it over and over, Ni Sitian hesitated for a long time before saying, "That Miss Bai should have nothing to do with Shen Muzhi."

Xiang Zhilan still didn't react. Ni Sitian said, "There must be some misunderstanding. Shen Muzhi isn't the kind of person who's fickle. He's been looking for you for over two years, trying to win you back."

Xiang Zhilan turned her head to look out the window. Shen Muzhi's attitude had changed so obviously that she knew something was wrong. But his words were too hurtful. He said that he loved her, but it was just to coax her into bed.

How could she possibly tolerate this? Even if she had her reasons, she couldn't just talk about them.

Her heart, which had just begun to warm up, was plunged back into winter.

"If you want to know something, you should ask him yourself. Distance between people is caused by misunderstandings." Ni Sitian held Xiang Zhilan's hand and patted it gently, finding that her hand was as cold as snow.

Ni Sitian sighed softly. Those two were really causing trouble. Their relationship had just eased up a bit, and now there was friction again.

Tang Sanzang went through eighty-one tribulations on his journey to the West, and she thought the other two were no less fortunate than Tang Sanzang.

Xiang Zhilan looked out the window and saw that it was snowing for the first time after the New Year. The weather forecast said that it was going to start to warm up, so why was it snowing again?

The snow came just in time, much like her mood; the sun had been shining brightly for only a few days before the land was frozen solid again.
