Ni Sitian turned around and chased after Xiang Zhilan.
Shen Muzhi watched them safely cross the road and hail a taxi before his brows furrowed and he clutched his stomach.

"Muzhi, are you alright?" Bai Yutong nervously grabbed Shen Muzhi's arm, watching his face grow increasingly pale, his lips losing all color.
Shen Muzhi pulled his arm away and said calmly, "Go back."
"How can I go back looking like this?" Bai Yutong grabbed him again and said seriously, "Come on, let's go to the hospital."
"Bai Yutong, are you sick?! I told you to get out!" Shen Muzhi pulled his arm away again, bent down and picked up the short boot.
Bai Yutong was stunned. Although he had always been cold to her, he had never been so rude before. She asked worriedly, "What happened?"
"Is it like Ni Sitian said, that you had a chance to explain earlier, but she stormed off, and only then did you come out and pretend to be a good guy?" The taxi that Xiang Zhilan and Ni Sitian got into was going in the opposite direction from them. Xiang Zhilan had a taut, frosty face and didn't say a word from the moment she got in the car.

Xiang Zhilan turned her head to look out the window. Shen Muzhi's attitude had changed so obviously that she knew something was wrong. But his words were too hurtful. He said that he loved her, but it was just to coax her into bed.
How could she possibly tolerate this? Even if she had her reasons, she couldn't just talk about them.
Her heart, which had just begun to warm up, was plunged back into winter.
"If you want to know something, you should ask him yourself. Distance between people is caused by misunderstandings." Ni Sitian held Xiang Zhilan's hand and patted it gently, finding that her hand was as cold as snow.
Ni Sitian sighed softly. Those two were really causing trouble. Their relationship had just eased up a bit, and now there was friction again.
