Chapter 1342 No Rebellion Allowed

Xu Tingchuan lifted him up, then held him under his armpits and said seriously, "Get your facts straight. There's a first-come, first-served rule. Your mother and I fell in love before you were born. Are you trying to rebel?"

"Daddy's bad, Daddy's bad!" Tuantuan waved her little hands and feet, trying to hit him, but her short arms and legs couldn't reach Xu Tingchuan at all, making her look quite comical.

Ni Sitian was amused by them; they were such a pair of clowns, and this kind of scene was happening more and more often lately.

"Okay, stop bullying Tuantuan." Ni Sitian took Tuantuan back from Xu Tingchuan's arms.

Tuantuan immediately complained to Ni Sitian in a spoiled manner: "Mom, Dad is a bad dad."

"Dad was just joking with you. He loves Tuantuan the most," Ni Sitian coaxed.

Tuantuan hugged her neck tightly, turned her head away, clearly not believing what she said.

Ni Sitian glared at Xu Tingchuan reproachfully. It was all because he was so childish that Tuantuan became even more clingy to her.

Xu Tingchuan snorted and turned to leave.

After appeasing Tuantuan, Ni Sitian took out the pudding and prepared apples.

Tuantuan sat upright in her high chair, eating pudding and apple pie with a spoon.

Xu Tingchuan came downstairs and went to the restaurant. Seeing that Tuantuan was eating happily, he asked Ni Sitian, "Where's my portion?"

"Pudding can't be made right away; it needs to sit for a few hours to set." Ni Sitian gently wiped the apple pie off Tuan Tuan's face.

"What about my apple pie?" Xu Tingchuan was now very jealous of the little guy's treatment.

Ni Sitian looked up, paused for a moment, and said, "You didn't say you wanted apple pie."

Xu Tingchuan was speechless, staring at the apple pie that Tuantuan had half-eaten. It wasn't that he really wanted to eat it, but the little guy had two of them, while he had none.

Tuantuan raised her arm to cover the food in front of her, looked up at her father as if to say that it was all his and he was not allowed to take it.

Xu Tingchuan turned his resentful gaze to Ni Sitian. Ni Sitian sensed his displeasure and said, "There are two pancakes left from this morning. I'll heat them up and spread some strawberry jam on them. Do you want some?"

"Yes." Xu Tingchuan sat down opposite Tuantuan, looking like he was waiting to eat.

Ni Si smiled and went into the kitchen. Five minutes later, she came out with a tray containing two servings of tea and snacks, which she then sat down to eat.

Seeing that he and Ni Sitian were eating the same thing, Xu Tingchuan smirked at Tuantuan and picked up the pancake, taking a big bite.

"Can you stop being so childish?" Ni Sitian was speechless at Xu Tingchuan.

Seeing that Tuantuan also seemed to want to eat the pancake, she cut a small piece and fed it to him.

"Mom, eat." Tuantuan returned the favor by scooping up a piece of pudding and feeding it to her.

Seeing the two of them eating each other, Xu Tingchuan felt that the pancake in his mouth didn't taste so good anymore.

Ni Sitian caught a glimpse of Xu Tingchuan putting down the half-eaten pancake, then turned to him with a slight smile: "I told you you don't like sweets, but you insisted on being stubborn. You couldn't finish it, could you?"

Xu Tingchuan's inability to eat it wasn't because it was a dessert; she truly didn't understand his current feelings at all.

"I'm not eating anymore." After saying that, he pushed back his chair, stood up, and went upstairs.

Ni Sitian was stunned. Why was he acting like a sulking child?

"Mommy, I want more to eat." Tuantuan shook her hand, drawing her attention back.

Ni Sitian looked away, smiled at him, and fed him another bite.
