Ni Sitian was stunned as she watched him finish packing in a flurry of activity.
At this moment, Tuantuan woke up, looking adorably dazed from sleep.
She snapped out of her reverie, touched her tangled hair, and said, "Do you want to sleep a little longer?"
Tuantuan shook her head, then closed her eyes and snuggled into her arms, looking incredibly cute. She couldn't help but smile.
Looking up again, I saw that Xu Tingchuan had already gone downstairs with his luggage.
Ni Sitian frowned. He hadn't mentioned it yesterday, so why did he suddenly say he was going on a business trip today? Could it be because he was angry that she had ignored him?
Ni Sitian frowned, put Tuantuan back on the bed, got up to wash and change her clothes, intending to ask him for clarification. However, just as she was about to leave the bedroom, she heard Tuantuan calling for his mother, so she quickly went to the bedside.

When they were almost downstairs, she was afraid that Xu Tingchuan would be jealous and unhappy, so she put Tuantuan down and took his hand as they walked towards the restaurant.
The maid had already prepared breakfast. She sat down in the high chair with the child and smiled at Xu Tingchuan, feigning weakness, "Good morning."
"Good morning." Xu Tingchuan didn't even look up, looking at the newspaper and eating his breakfast.
"Is it something urgent? Do we have to go now?" Ni Sitian asked worriedly.
"It's urgent. I'll remember Tuantuan's birthday, so you don't need to worry," Xu Tingchuan said calmly, his eyes still glued to the newspaper.
She wasn't just worried that he wouldn't make it to Tuantuan's birthday celebration; she was also very worried about him. What an awkward guy! "So, where are we going this time?"

Although the little dumpling couldn't understand the meaning behind the words, she still copied Ni Sitian's words.
Xu Tingchuan turned around, a slight smile playing on his lips. He reached out and patted the little dumpling's head, then withdrew his hand, glanced at his watch, looked at Ni Sitian, and said, "It's almost time, I have to go."
"Be careful on the road, and remember to be back before Thursday," Ni Sitian instructed.
"I understand." Xu Tingchuan's tone became indifferent. He was so focused on his son's birthday that he had forgotten that his own birthday was coming up soon.

"Say goodbye to Daddy, Tuantuan," Ni Sitian instructed Tuantuan as she watched Xu Tingchuan get into the car.
"Goodbye, Daddy." Tuantuan waved her little hand.
"Goodbye." Xu Tingchuan waved, then instructed Xiao Zhang to drive.
As the car started, Ni Sitian watched the rear of the car drive out of the yard and suddenly felt as if she and her son had been abandoned here.
