"You eat it." Shen Muzhi glanced at her sandwich; he actually wanted to eat the food she made too.
He has only ever eaten the porridge she cooked so far, while Xin Zikai once ate her curry rice.
"Then I'll eat it." Xiang Zhilan opened her mouth and took a bite, looking very happy, and couldn't help but suppress a smile.
Finally, she broke down and laughed, "Silly boy, how could I possibly have missed you?"
Shen Muzhi's eyes lit up as he watched Xiang Zhilan take a thermal lunchbox out of the picnic basket and hand it to him.
He smiled, looked down and opened the package. There were three layers: millet porridge, corn stir-fried with black beans, and stir-fried lettuce.
"Your stomach needs to rest for another month before you can eat anything else." Xiang Zhilan handed him a spoon and chopsticks and said, "Once you're better, I'll cook your favorite dishes for you."
"Mmm." Shen Muzhi was quite content with this. She had even taken special care of his stomach, making him food that was different from what he ate elsewhere. The warm lunchbox in his hands warmed his heart as well.
"Eat up, don't let it get cold." Xiang Zhilan felt a little embarrassed by his gaze and reminded him.
Shen Muzhi lowered his head to drink porridge and eat vegetables.
"Mom, I want to eat too." Hengheng saw that his father was eating differently from everyone else, so he came over.
Xiao Kui saw this and came over, both of them staring longingly at Shen Muzhi's lunchbox.
Ni Sitian took out some strawberries and asked, "Does anyone want some strawberries?"
Hengheng and Xiaokui then moved to a different spot, and Tuantuan also took a big one.
Seeing that Xin Chun was looking this way but didn't dare to come over, Ni Sitian said to Tuantuan, "Give one to Xiao Chun."
Tuantuan walked over with the one in her hand, stopped in front of Xin Chun, and extended her hand to her. Without saying anything more, she simply said, "Here you go."
Xin Chun glanced at Tuan Tuan, then at the strawberry, hesitantly reached out and took it, her voice barely audible: "Thank you."

Tuantuan turned around and walked back to Ni Sitian's side, and Ni Sitian rewarded him with an extra strawberry.
"Tuantuan, here's mine for you." Seeing that Tuantuan liked to eat it, Xiaokui reached out and handed it to her.
Xiang Zhilan was both amused and exasperated. Xiao Kui clearly loved strawberries the most, and just a few days ago she even fought with Heng Heng over the last strawberry. Now she actually gave the strawberry to Tuan Tuan. Just how much does she love her little brother Tuan Tuan?
"Xiao Kui, you can eat it yourself. Tuan Tuan already has two." Ni Sitian thought Xiao Kui was so cute and couldn't help but hug her.
"Tuantuan likes it." Xiaokui still held out her hand, insisting on giving it to Tuantuan.
Suddenly, Hengheng reached out and grabbed the strawberry from her hand, saying, "If you're not going to eat it, give it to me."
Hengheng took a bite right away, and when Xiaokui saw that her favorite strawberry had been eaten by Hengheng, she immediately burst into tears.
Gu Jinxuan placed his hand in Xiao Kui's hand and patted her head, saying, "Don't cry."
Xiao Kui stopped crying, afraid that Heng Heng would take it away again, and immediately lowered her head to eat strawberries.
Seeing that she had two in her hand while Gu Jinxuan didn't, Tuantuan handed one over.
"Thank you, Tuantuan." Gu Jinxuan accepted it.
Ni Sitian was very satisfied with Tuantuan's actions and patted his head.
Xiang Zhilan gently educated Hengheng, "Look, everyone knows how to be considerate. How could you snatch your sister's strawberry just now?"
"She wants to give it to Tuantuan." Hengheng pouted. What bothered him most was that his sister seemed to prefer playing with Tuantuan to playing with him.
