Xu Tingchuan and Zhang Yijia spoke alone for less than five minutes before Xu Tingchuan came out.
When he came out, he saw Li Shaoan sitting outside, looking dejected and holding his head in great pain. He glanced at him indifferently and prepared to walk past him.
“Mr. Xu, could you please pass on a message to Tianzhen?” Li Shaoan looked up and called out to Xu Tingchuan.
In fact, he had only met Xu Tingchuan once two months ago, and apart from knowing that he was Ni Sitian's husband, he knew nothing else about him. But now he had something he wanted to ask of him.
Xu Tingchuan stopped and looked coldly at Li Shaoan.
"Tell Tianzhen not to worry, I won't let anything happen to her. Tell her to take good care of herself." Li Shaoan knew that the Ni family wouldn't let him see Ni Tianzhen again anytime soon. The damage had already been done, and now all he could do was try his best to make amends.
Hearing this, Xu Tingchuan looked down on Li Shaoan even more. He clearly loved someone in his heart, yet his body could still betray him. This kind of love was truly fragile, unable to withstand even the most basic test.
What's even more pathetic is that Li Shaoan couldn't even persuade Zhang Yijia, a small thing. In his eyes, such a man doesn't even live like a man.
He didn't bother to respond to Li Shaoan, looked away, and walked away.
When Xu Tingchuan returned to Ni Tianzhen's ward, Ni Sitian had just come out.
"The doctor just informed us that a private room has become available, so my cousin can move to a better ward. Moreover, Director Chen will personally take care of her health." Ni Sitian's mood improved slightly.

"I only chatted with her for a few minutes," Xu Tingchuan said casually, without mentioning at all that he had renewed the contract with Changsheng Trading some time ago and how many percentage points he had to give up.
If she finds out about that amount, she'll inevitably feel burdened.
Although he could resolve the matter through other connections, his father's current position doesn't allow for any mistakes; he can't afford to give anyone a handle to use against him.
So if it's a problem that can be solved with money, then it's the simplest and easiest thing for him.
"Thank you." Ni Sitian knew that no matter how Xu Tingchuan did it, things were definitely not as simple as he made them out to be. She looked at him earnestly and said, "Thank you so much for doing so much for me."
Xu Tingchuan frowned slightly, took her hand, pulled her into his arms, and said just as seriously, "Ni Sitian, we are husband and wife, so your relatives are naturally my relatives too. It's only right that I do these things, understand?"
Touched, Ni Sitian reached out and hugged Xu Tingchuan's waist, nodding in his arms.
"If you're so polite again, watch out for your bottom," Xu Tingchuan said, patting her bottom.
Ni Sitian blushed instantly, pulled away from his embrace, and glared at him: "What kind of time is this to be joking?"
Xu Tingchuan smiled faintly when he saw that she had finally regained some of her energy.
