Chapter 1423 Xiao Kui's Wronged Feelings

The four of them met, and while the children were still in class, Ni Sitian asked Xiang Zhilan about the situation.

As they were talking, the children filed out of the classroom.

"Tuantuan, why can Xiaochun play with it, but I can't?" Xiaokui followed Tuantuan out, speaking with a wronged tone.

Xin Chun looked at Tuan Tuan, clutching the number card tightly in her hand, afraid that he would tell her to give it to Xiao Kui.

"Can you understand it?" Tuantuan glanced at Xiaokui from behind.

Xiao Kui pouted. She recognized the numbers, but she really didn't understand why those symbols were placed in the middle of the numbers. But if he taught her, wouldn't she understand?

He used to ignore everyone and rarely talked to others, so she didn't feel that he was cold towards her. But recently he has been talking to Xiaochun, and he keeps saying things that she can't understand.

"I..." Xiao Kui couldn't refute him, and felt even more aggrieved and upset.

Seeing his younger sister like this, Hengheng took her hand and said, "Don't we have one at home? Let's go back and ask Dad to teach us."

"I don't want it, I want this one." Xiao Kui pointed at Xiao Chun's hand somewhat willfully.

Xiang Zhilan was very troubled. Her daughter seemed to be becoming more and more willful, and she couldn't let her continue like this.

She squatted down, patted Xiao Kui's head, and said softly, "That was given to Xiao Chun by little brother Tuan Tuan. You are the older sister, you can't do that, you know?"

"Mom." Xiao Kui hugged Xiang Zhilan's neck, her voice filled with grievance.

Ni Sitian tried to smooth things over, but Tuantuan had already walked away on her own, and Xu Tingchuan followed her. She had no choice but to take Xiaochun's hand and say goodbye to them first.

Shen Muzhi picked Xiao Kui up from the ground and coaxed her, "How about Daddy gives you even more and prettier ones?"

Xiao Kui watched Xin Chun and Tuan Tuan walk away, pouting without answering.

"Don't always spoil her, or she'll become a bad person," Xiang Zhilan corrected helplessly, something she had done many times before.

"What does it matter? As long as I can afford it, my daughter can have whatever she wants." Shen Muzhi said confidently.

Xiang Zhilan shook her head and took Hengheng's hand.

"Daddy, I want to learn math," Xiao Kui said in a pitiful, childish voice, perched on Shen Muzhi's shoulder.

"Okay, Daddy will teach you." Shen Muzhi held her small body close to his ear; her soft and cuddly appearance was incredibly cute.

"I want to learn too!" Hengheng said, raising his hand.

"Alright, alright, I'll teach you everything." Shen Muzhi patted Hengheng's head.

It seems a bit early to start teaching a child who is not yet three years old, but since the child is willing to learn, he is naturally happy to teach him.

However, judging from the fact that Hengheng is teaching arithmetic, the gap between him and Xiaokui seems to be widening significantly.

Hengheng is smart. Although he is not as talented as Tuantuan, he learns very quickly.

As for Xiao Kui, he taught her at the same time, but after a week, Heng Heng gradually mastered everything up to ten, while she was still stuck on addition and subtraction up to three, and her concentration was not as good as Heng Heng's.

Xiang Zhilan originally thought they were twins and should be progressing at about the same pace, but unexpectedly the gap between them kept widening.

Although it's too early to worry now, there's a saying that you can tell a lot about a person's future from their childhood.

"I wonder who Xiao Kui looks like?" Xiang Zhilan said to Shen Muzhi as she lay down in bed after applying her skincare products that evening.

Although she wasn't a child prodigy, her grades never worried her parents; she consistently ranked in the top ten. Shen Muzhi was even more so.

“It’s inherited from a previous generation; my mom hates math the most,” Shen Muzhi said with a smile as he hugged her.

Xiang Zhilan chuckled. So the root of the problem was her mother-in-law.
