Chapter 1493, Side Story 003: Tutoring

Luo Xikui laughed. So his voice was changing. It went from a clear, youthful voice to a deeper one. It sounded a little strange, but not unpleasant.

No wonder he hasn't been very willing to talk to her lately. Although he's never been a talkative person, he's been unusually cold lately.

So that's why. He must have felt embarrassed because his voice didn't sound good during puberty.

Luo Xikui smiled with pursed lips, then patted his shoulder reassuringly and said, "Your voice is much better than my brother's current hoarse voice, don't worry about it so much."

"It's so noisy." Xu Ziyu felt that she had been getting more and more talkative lately, so he took her earphone back and put it back in his own ear.

Luo Xikui snorted, feeling that his temper had been getting worse lately, so she turned her head to the other window. But after a while, she couldn't help but turn back and chatter away to him.

Although he barely responded, she knew he was listening to what she had to say.

The car drove all the way to the villa on the island in the middle of the lake. The two got out of the car, and she walked backwards while talking to him.

My heel accidentally tripped over a protruding stone, and my body involuntarily leaned backward.

Xu Ziyu reached out and grabbed her wrist, causing her to lean forward. Before she could fall into his arms, he let go and stepped onto the stairs to go inside.

She turned around to look at his back, pouted, and stomped her foot. She had deliberately fallen twice today, but why wouldn't he take the bait? He even avoided her for half a second, immediately pulling his hand away.

Hmph, he's not cute at all, and he doesn't understand girls' feelings at all.

"What are you dawdling about?" Xu Ziyu turned to look at her, who was still at the bottom of the steps.

"Coming!" She ran up the steps.

Upon entering the house, she exclaimed in surprise, "Aren't Auntie and Uncle here?"

"I'm going to the banquet," Xu Ziyu said casually, heading upstairs.

Luo Xikui followed him into his room, put down her schoolbag, and then lay down on his bed in a spread-eagle position.

Xu Ziyu frowned slightly, nudged her calf with his toe, and said in a deep voice, "Get up."

"Don't be stingy, it won't hurt to lie down for a bit." Although she said that, she still obediently got up, went to her desk, sat down, and took out her homework.

Xu Ziyu pulled up a swivel chair, sat down next to her, and said, "Is there anything you didn't understand in today's lesson?"

She took out the test paper, chuckled, and circled the questions with a pencil.

He saw her red score, his brow furrowed, and his calm voice betrayed his displeasure: "Sixty-three in math?"

She stuck out her tongue. She didn't want to do so badly on the test, but she really hated math.

"Bring out the other subjects." Xu Ziyu tapped the table with the tip of his pen.

She obediently took out all the midterm exam papers that had just been handed out today. Out of 120 points, she scored 110 in Chinese, 106 in English, 63 in Math, 56 in Physics (out of 100 points), and 32 in Chemistry (out of 60 points).

His expression grew increasingly grim. She scratched her head, somewhat embarrassed, and said, "I'm not good at science."

"Is it that you're not good at it, or that you haven't put your heart into it!" He slammed his pen on the table, his tone somewhat stern.

Luo Xikui was startled and pouted, "Why are you being so fierce?"

Xu Ziyu took a deep breath, suppressing his frustration, and picked up her math test paper and scratch paper. He held a pen and wrote formulas on it: "This problem needs to be solved by substituting this formula..."
