Xu Ziyu turned his gaze away from Ono Makoto and looked at Luo Xikui, asking without answering, "Have you had lunch yet?"
Luo Xikui shook her head; she and Ono Makoto were just about to have lunch.
"That's perfect, have dinner with me." Without waiting for a reply, Xu Ziyu took her hand.
Luo Xikui was taken aback. He came all this way just to have lunch with her?!
Makoto Ono looked at their hands, frowned slightly, and said, "Sir, you are being rather rude to the lady."
After pulling Luo Xikui to his side, Xu Ziyu was no longer in a hurry. He held her hand tightly with his own, raised it up to Ono Makoto, and said, "Mr. Ono, I think you understand now, right?"
Ono Makoto looked at their hands, so tightly clasped, and found it surprisingly fitting. He couldn't help but look at Luo Xi Kui: "Is he your boyfriend?"
Luo Xikui was in a dilemma. She never wanted to embarrass Xu Ziyu in front of others. If she denied it, Xu Ziyu would lose face and confirm that Ono Makoto's words were rude.
But she didn't want Xu Ziyu to think that she had agreed to start over.
Just as they were in a dilemma, Xu Ziyu spoke first: "Of course not."
Luo Xikui was surprised. Why was he holding her hand?
"Xiao Kui is my fiancée." Xu Ziyu smiled politely at Ono Makoto.
Ono Makoto opened his eyes wide and looked at Luo Xikui. Luo Xikui was even more surprised than him. How could she have known that Xu Ziyu would say such a thing?
When did she agree to become his fiancée?!
"Let's go eat." Xu Ziyu didn't care whether she agreed or not, and took her hand and walked towards the door.
Makoto Ono and his assistant, Ping, followed him, and the four of them entered a sushi restaurant together.
After sitting down, Luo Xikui noticed that her assistant was staring straight at Xu Ziyu without even blinking, practically drooling.
"Sister Xiao Kui, when did you get such a handsome fiancé?!" Xiao Ping whispered to Luo Xi Kui.
Luo Xikui was speechless. This attempt to speak in a low voice was simply burying one's head in the sand; everyone at the table could hear it.
She didn't know how to answer, as she had only just found out she had a 'fiancé'.
"Order." She could only gesture with her eyes for Xiaoping not to ask any more questions.
Everyone picked up the menus. Makoto Ono knew that Luo Xikui loved sushi, so he recommended the restaurant's most famous Arctic surf clam sushi and salmon sashimi.
“No,” Xu Ziyu interrupted his recommendation, saying, “Her fever has just subsided; she can’t eat raw or cold food.”
Luo Xikui's originally enthusiastic face fell, and she looked at him resentfully. Surely he wasn't going to let her drink porridge again?
Xu Ziyu seemed not to notice her gaze and calmly ordered his food.
When Luo Xikui finally found out there was no porridge left, she was overjoyed.
Xu Ziyu was amused by her beaming face. She had been a true foodie since she was a child, and it was quite remarkable that she would always save half of the best food for him.
"You're not allowed to dip it in wasabi." Xu Zi saw her chopsticks holding tamago sushi and was about to dip it into the small dish, so he immediately stopped her.
Luo Xikui pouted, but in the end she obediently listened and ate it directly. Fortunately, the tamago sushi was very sweet and tasted good on its own.
Makoto Ono looked at the two of them, as if they were so intimate that no one could get in, and he and his assistant were like air.
"This is for you." Xu Ziyu picked up a piece of Japanese-style beef and placed it on her plate.
Luo Xikui immediately beamed with joy. He had thought she wouldn't allow him to eat fried food, so he hadn't dared to pick it up.
Oh, so it was edible! I'm so regretful, now there are only three pieces left.
