Chapter 1589 Extra Chapter 099: Don't Dislike Him

Luo Xikui was startled and immediately panicked. Forgetting everything else, she turned around, squatted down next to him, and her eyes reddened: "How could this happen? Wasn't he hit by a bicycle? How could it be so serious?"

Xu Ziyu tried to pull down her trouser leg to cover herself, but it was too late; she had already seen it.

"Tuantuan, what happened?" Luo Xikui discovered that it wasn't just a simple swelling of the knee; there was also a small scar on the inside of his knee, like an explosion injury.

"Nothing's wrong." Xu Ziyu pulled down his trouser leg, turned his head away, and pursed his lips tightly, refusing to talk to her anymore.

"You call this nothing?!" Luo Xikui wanted to pull up her pants to take a closer look.

Xu Ziyu grabbed her hand and said coldly, "That's enough. Didn't you want to leave? Get out of the car now!"

"I'm not leaving, let me see." Luo Xikui became more and more certain that he was hiding something from her. The bicycle couldn't have been damaged like this, and the wound was obviously an old one.

"Luo Xikui, you start when you want, and you end when you want. Have you ever cared about my feelings?" Xu Ziyu shook off her hand and said sharply, "I don't need your help! Who are you to me? What right do you have to tell me what to do!"

Luo Xikui's face turned pale. Yes, it was she who wanted to draw a line; his affairs were no longer her concern.

But she clearly saw it, how could she not ask, how could she ignore it?

“Ayu…” Her eyes reddened and filled with tears as she looked at him.

Xu Ziyu turned his head away, not looking at her tears; he always succumbed to her tears.

The car arrived at the hospital, and Xu Ziyu was taken into the emergency room.

Luo Xikui was terrified while waiting outside. She couldn't understand what the doctor was saying, but she knew from the doctor's expression that the situation was very bad.

What exactly happened? Why is his knee like that?

Luo Xikui sniffed, calmed herself down, and then called Ni Sitian.

"Auntie," Luo Xikui called out in a low, hoarse voice.

"Xiao Kui," Ni Sitian said with a smile as she painted an oil painting, "how's your recording in Japan going?"

"Yes, I'm with Ziyu right now." Luo Xikui pursed her lips and said uneasily, "We're at the hospital."

"What?! The hospital?!" Ni Sitian dropped her paintbrush with a thud and asked anxiously, "Is it something wrong with Xiaoyu's knee?!"

Luo Xikui's heart skipped a beat; sure enough, her knee injury was an old one, and judging from Aunt Ni's tone, it was quite serious.

"The doctor is examining him." She pursed her lips again and asked in a hoarse voice, "What happened to his knee?"

Ni Sitian was panicking, but she remembered that her son had repeatedly told her not to tell Luo Xikui about what happened that time. For this reason, she had kept it a secret from even her best friend Zhi Lan all these years.

“You should ask Xiaoyu about this.” Ni Sitian felt that Luo Xikui seemed to have become much colder towards Ziyu in recent years. After thinking for a moment, she spoke up for her son and said carefully, “Xiaokui, Xiaoyu has had a hard time these past few years. If you dislike him, Auntie won’t blame you. I just think you could be more tactful.”

Luo Xikui's mind went blank. Although Ni Sitian didn't say it explicitly, what exactly was the problem, and why would she use words like "she dislikes him"?

Ni Sitian felt she had already shown weakness on behalf of her stubborn son, and that the rest was their own business, so she hung up the phone without saying anything more.

Luo Xikui bit her lip and looked at the emergency room through the curtain. What was he hiding from her?
