Xu Ziyu lifted her face and wiped away her tears, feeling even more helpless: "Idiot, why are you crying now?"
"I'm so happy." Luo Xikui threw herself into his arms and hugged him, confessing passionately and boldly: "Ayu, I like you so much, more than anyone else in the world."
"I already knew that," Xu Ziyu said with a smile, patting her head.
"I love you the most." Luo Xikui hugged him, rubbing her cheek against his chest, repeatedly expressing her love, as if no amount of words could express how much she loved him.
Xu Ziyu lowered his head and kissed the crown of her hair, his eyes filled with tenderness.
It took Luo Xikui a while to calm down. She looked up at him and said, "Ayu, you can't go back on your word. This isn't like when we were playing house as kids. You have to take responsibility for this."
“I’ve already given you the ring. If you go back on your word, I’ll suffer a huge loss. It’s not in my financial interest.” Xu Ziyu raised his hand and flicked her nose.
Luo Xikui smiled brightly, touching the dazzling ring, and leaned into his arms again.
A wave of immense joy washed over her, and she was so happy she didn't know what to do.
Xu Ziyu held her close, took a deep breath, and felt her fragrance fill his nostrils.
His planned proposal seemed to happen without him doing anything; the ring was already in her hand.
He had originally planned to be more formal, kneel on one knee, and say something like asking her to marry him, but she got so excited just from seeing the box, wasn't she afraid there wasn't a ring inside?
They're really shameless.
However, he also liked her straightforwardness and frankness. She laughed when she was happy and cried when she was sad. She seemed to be a naturally emotional person, which was something he lacked.
"Ah Yu, this is the best birthday I've ever had!" Luo Xi Kui didn't let go of my hand, but tilted her head back and smiled with her eyes narrowed: "If you kiss me again, I'll be even happier."
"How can you be so proactive?" Xu Ziyu had no choice but to lower his head and peck at her lips.
Not content with such a fleeting encounter, Luo Xikui tiptoed, wrapped her arms around his neck, and began to kiss his lips, taking the initiative.
He could only bend down slightly, support her waist, and return her kiss.
Suddenly, the church bells rang, as if celebrating for the two of them.
After the kiss, Luo Xikui slowly opened her eyes to look at him, her eyes full of smiles.
"If only today were our wedding day." She longed to become his bride as soon as possible.
"Why are you in such a hurry? I'm not going to run away." Xu Ziyu gently rubbed his nose against hers.
Luo Xikui smiled and said without any shyness, "I want to go to the bridal chamber as soon as possible."
"Luo Xikui, did you forget how to write 'restraint' when you were in junior high school?" Xu Ziyu tapped her forehead.
"I've only learned three idioms." Luo Xikui tilted her head and held up three fingers.
"Which three?" Xu Ziyu asked curiously.
"Strike while the iron is hot, may you have a beautiful love affair and a son soon." After saying this, Luo Xikui blushed as she suppressed a laugh.
"Aren't you ashamed?" Xu Ziyu's ears turned red; she had actually brought up the topic of lovemaking.
"I'm so embarrassed." Luo Xikui couldn't stand it anymore, so she buried her head in his arms and giggled.
Xu Ziyu put his arm around her and thought about her three idioms. They actually connected the preceding and following sentences, and the order was correct.
"Ayu, why don't you say three idioms too?" Luo Xikui raised her head, squinted her eyes and smiled.
