Xiang Hengxi looked at her bare face, as if she was trying her best to suppress her anger, and he didn't know what he had done to offend her again.
"Didn't you hear everything just now?" Xiang Hengxi handed the form to Jing An'an and said, "In the army, there is no difference between men and women, only the difference between excellent soldiers and weaklings."
Jing An'an's face darkened. He actually planned to make her train with the same intensity as the male soldiers. This was simply bullying and an excuse for him to kick her out of the army!
She knows her physical abilities best. Let alone achieving this goal in two months, with this training intensity, she'd be dead in less than a week. Moreover, excessive physical training would leave her no time to do her job properly.
"You have a problem with that?" Xiang Hengxi raised an eyebrow.
“Yes, that’s where my role in the army comes in.” Jing An’an pointed to her head and said in a deep voice, “It’s not about brute force. That kind of intensity is simply asking the impossible. Everyone has their strengths. As a superior, I should let my subordinates use their strengths to bring the greatest help to the team.”
“You have a point, but this is just the basic assessment for new recruits. They’re not even considered special forces yet. If they can’t even do this, then staying in the 309th Regiment will just be a burden.” Xiang Hengxi’s attitude did not soften.
Jing An'an pursed her lips and remained silent.
"I hope this is the last time you talk back to your superior." Xiang Hengxi's face turned cold.
Jing An'an remained silent; she wouldn't promise what she couldn't do.
Xiang Hengxi frowned. How could there be such an unpleasant woman, with such a bad temper and stubbornness?
Just as the two were at an impasse, a soldier came over and told him that his regimental commander was looking for him.
Xiang Hengxi left first and headed towards the office building.
Upon entering the office, Commander Li looked up at him and smiled, "Sit down first. I heard you made Jing An'an sick?"
Upon hearing her name and recalling her unruly demeanor, Xiang Hengxi sat down and said to Commander Li, "She is not suitable for our regiment."
"She's only been here two days, how do you know she's not suitable? You're prejudiced against her." Commander Li handed him a document, explaining her background: "Jing An'an just turned twenty last month. She graduated with a master's degree in computer science from Yihai University. During her time at university, she helped the police fix vulnerabilities in the police intranet, and repeatedly used anti-hacking technology to help the police find hackers attacking the intranet. She even helped the anti-drug unit crack a large gang. Don't let her young age fool you; she's very experienced. She even wrote a paper on the role of electronic detection in actual combat, which is very insightful and sharp. She was specially recruited by General Lin, so she's just here for some training. Don't be too harsh on her."
After Commander Li finished speaking at such a long time, Xiang Hengxi also finished looking through her resume. This resume would be impressive anywhere.
She reminded him of someone, his old friend Xu Ziyu, whose brain was structured differently from others; he was a brilliant genius.
No wonder she dared to be so arrogant towards him; only those with the means dare to challenge him.
“Commander, I admit she may be a little different, but these are all her backgrounds before joining the army. Once she’s in the army, she’s a new recruit.” Xiang Hengxi insisted on his opinion and added, “If she wants to stay, she has to show me her attitude, determination, and ability.”
“Then there’s no need for the same intensity as the male soldiers.” Regiment Commander Li knew Xiang Hengxi quite well and said, “I think we should train her at the same intensity as the female soldiers in the army.”
