Chapter 1727 Hengheng's Side Story 35: The Big Nosy Kid

Xiang Hengxi watched her nimble figure disappear into the distance, smiled, and called out, "Slow down, be careful."

Jing An'an turned around and glared at him, then took out her keys, opened the door, and went inside.

After watching her go inside, Xiang Hengxi smiled and shook his head before returning to his car.

Jing An'an finally breathed a sigh of relief when she heard the sound of his car engine.

"An'an, you're back." Jing's mother came out of the kitchen and saw that An'an was carrying a basket. She went over to look at it and asked in surprise, "Why are there so many strawberries?"

"I went strawberry picking with my friends." Jing An'an handed the strawberries to her mother.

"Was that your friend talking outside just now? Why don't you invite them in to sit down?" Jing's mother only heard the voice, "Slow down, be careful."

"He has something to do," Jing An'an casually made up an excuse.

"Why is your face so red?" Jing's mother noticed that her cheeks and ears were red, and it wasn't the kind of redness from being frozen.

"I'm hot." Jing An'an tapped her cane on the ground as she walked inside. Afraid that her mother would ask again, she said, "I'm hungry. Is dinner ready?"

"It'll be ready soon, please have a seat." Jing's mother carried the strawberries into the kitchen, muttering to herself about how to distribute so many strawberries.

Jing An'an breathed a sigh of relief and sat down on the sofa. Just then, her phone rang in her pocket, and she took it out to answer it.

Then came the rogue's cheerful laughter: "You still owe me a kiss, I'll get it back next time."

Jing An'an's cheeks, which had just faded, turned red again. This person is truly shameless to the extreme.

She regretted giving in so easily; once she called him "husband," he would bring it up often from now on.

"Your 'husband' sounds even better than Heng-gege's. You should call him 'husband' more often from now on." Xiang Hengxi drove the car, his smile growing even more radiant.

"If you have nothing else to say, I'll hang up." Jing An'an felt that if they continued talking, he would take advantage of her verbally.

"Don't hang up, something's up," Xiang Hengxi paused, then said seriously, "I've already reported to the commander. You should rest and recover now, and rejoin the team when your eyes are better."

"Mmm," Jing An'an responded softly.

"I'll come see you when I have a holiday, so don't miss me too much."

"Who wants to think about you?" Jing An'an pouted.

“I will miss you,” Xiang Hengxi suddenly replied, as if it were a natural thing in the world.

Jing An'an felt as if a feather had gently brushed against her heart, leaving a ticklish sensation.

She didn't speak, lowered her eyes, and pursed her lips.

"Recover quickly. The longer you're out of training, the more tiring it will be to resume training," Xiang Hengxi added.

"Didn't I already pass the assessment? What training is there left?" Jing An'an was taken aback.

"You don't think that being a soldier is just about passing one exam and that you can be lazy all the time, do you?" Xiang Hengxi smiled. "But if you call me 'husband' every day, I might consider giving you the treatment of a female soldier."

Jing An'an's heart, which had just been touched by a feather, was suddenly pounded by a stone. The shyness on her face faded, and she yelled into the phone, "You jerk!"

She didn't want to talk to him anymore and hung up.

"Who's the jerk?" Jing's mother asked with a smile as she brought out the food.

"A megalomaniac, a shameless bastard." Jing An'an rarely showed such strong emotions in front of her parents.

Jing's mother was a little surprised and even more curious about who this annoying person was, but seeing that her daughter didn't intend to say anything more, she didn't press the matter and called her over to eat.
