Ni Sitian didn't notice and continued eating, then asked curiously, "Does Shen Muzhi have insomnia? Zhi Lan said he's been getting up in the middle of the night every night lately and hasn't slept at all."
Xu Tingchuan frowned even more. He had no idea that Shen Muzhi's condition was so serious. He didn't know how to answer Ni Sitian's question, so he remained silent.
Ni Sitian was just chatting casually and didn't care that she didn't get an answer from him.
After the TV commercial ended, she continued watching the program.
Xu Tingchuan's mind was not on the show at all; his brows were furrowed and his lips were tightly pursed.
He hadn't expected that Shen Muzhi would actually take Xiang Zhilan to America.
For the past nine years, Shen Muzhi has always traveled on that flight alone. Why would he want to bring Xiang Zhilan, whom he has only known for a month, along? Is he really using Xiang Zhilan as a substitute for Su Yan?

Ni Sitian watched the TV program and laughed out loud from time to time.
After the laughter subsided, noticing that Xu Tingchuan hadn't reacted much, she looked up at him and asked, "Don't you like variety shows?"
Xu Tingchuan snapped out of his daze, put his arm around Ni Sitian's shoulder, and said, "No, I was just dealing with official business."
Upon hearing this, Ni Sitian sat down in Xu Tingchuan's lap, pinched his face with both hands, and said seriously, "When you're watching TV with me, relax a bit and don't keep thinking about work, work, work. You've already earned enough money!"
“I need to earn more. Don’t you like castles? I’m working hard to earn money to buy you one,” Xu Tingchuan said, half seriously and half jokingly.
Ni Sitian wrapped her arms around Xu Tingchuan's neck, buried her head in the crook of his neck, and muttered, "Then I'd rather not like the castle. I don't want you to work too hard. As long as you have enough money, that's fine. I'm not one of those socialites who have been used to a good life since childhood and have to have so much money."
"But I want you to live a good life from now on, and to do whatever you want," Xu Tingchuan said sincerely, embracing her.
He hoped that she would live a life of blissful happiness from now on, as long as she was happy and content.
“Xu Tingchuan, don’t you think you’ve been too lenient with me?” Ni Sitian was so touched by his words that she smiled with a sore nose. “I suspect that if I said I wanted the stars, you would do everything you could to get them for me.”
Xu Tingchuan smiled faintly, lowered his head and pressed his lips to hers, kissing her for a while before asking, "Then do you want it?"
"Yes!" Ni Sitian answered with a silly smile, because she knew that the stars could not be plucked from the sky and belong to her.
Xu Tingchuan didn't say anything, but pressed her down and kissed her again.
The two of them kissed passionately on the sofa, their breathing becoming erratic.
Xu Tingchuan reached for the remote, turned off the TV, and carried Ni Sitian into the bedroom.
The two rolled onto the bed, both very passionate.
It all happened naturally, and then it became quite embarrassing.
Ni Sitian was initially a little bothered by the thin scar on her body, but Xu Tingchuan's enthusiasm made her forget everything else and just cling to him, catering to his passion.
Eventually, I got so tired that I fell asleep in a daze.
After Xu Tingchuan was satisfied, he was full of energy. He watched Ni Sitian fall asleep and gently brushed the hair from her temples.
Her little face was rosy, and when she was asleep, her little mouth was slightly open as she breathed, exuding a natural and innocent charm.
She's right, he seems to be too indulgent towards her, spoiling her a bit too much.
