Chapter 30 Holding Little Hands

Seeing that Xu Tingchuan was looking at her without saying anything, Ni Sitian couldn't help but raise her hand and touch her cheek.

Is there something on her face?

Xu Tingchuan withdrew his gaze, placed the folder on the table, and said to Secretary Xue, "Let's all leave work early today."

Secretary Xue smiled slightly, bowed slightly, and left the office.

A moment later, cheers erupted outside the office.

"Let's go." Xu Tingchuan took a suit jacket from the coat rack, put it on, and gestured to Ni Sitian.

Ni Sitian stood up and followed Xu Tingchuan out of the office.

She was met with a wave of curious glances, but when she looked at them, they all seemed to be packing their bags, preparing to leave work.

Ni Sitian tilted her head in confusion, then looked back at Xu Tingchuan, only to find that he was already some distance away. She quickly caught up with him.

Xu Tingchuan was more than 20 centimeters taller than her. He took big strides and walked very fast, so she had to jog to keep up with him.

When I ran to his side, I was already panting heavily.

Xu Tingchuan glanced at her, realized he was walking too fast, and slowed down.

Given his status, he never had the habit of sitting in the same row as others when entering or exiting, so he had inadvertently overlooked it just now.

She is his wife, not his subordinate; he should accommodate her pace.

Ni Sitian quickly noticed that Xu Tingchuan's slowed pace was in sync with her, and the corners of her mouth involuntarily turned up slightly as she smiled at him.

Once inside the elevator, the atmosphere remained as silent as ever.

Ni Sitian lowered her head and looked at Xu Tingchuan's hands hanging by his sides. His fingers were long and slender, his palms were wide and his knuckles were distinct, giving him a capable and powerful look.

It's often said that people with beautiful faces don't have beautiful hands, so why doesn't this apply to Xu Tingchuan at all?

Even their hands are so beautiful, are they even leaving any other people a chance to live?

Ni Sitian silently complained in her heart.

The moment the elevator doors opened, the hand she had been criticizing suddenly slipped into her palm and grasped her hand.

Ni Sitian was surprised and looked up at Xu Tingchuan.

Xu Tingchuan had no expression as he led her out of the elevator, as if he had done this hand-holding a thousand times before, so skillfully and naturally.

The receptionist's eyes nearly popped out of her head when she saw the boss holding the hand of the girl who had just gone upstairs.

“Um…” Ni Sitian was not used to it and wanted to pull her hand back.

"You stared at my hand for so long, didn't you just want to hold it?" Xu Tingchuan didn't give her a chance to finish her sentence.

Ni Sitian's face flushed instantly. So he knew she had been staring at his hand.

But she didn't mean to hold his hand.

But if I were to say it now, it would be too disrespectful to Xu Tingchuan.

Forget it, I'll just hold his hand. It's not a long walk anyway.

Ni Sitian mentally prepared herself, glanced down at her hand that was being held, and her cheeks couldn't help but blush again.

His palms were warm and dry, and stronger than she had guessed; holding them felt quite nice.

After getting into the car and letting go of her hand, she felt as if the warmth of that hand still lingered in her palm.

"Aren't we going home?" Ni Sitian glanced at the direction Xu Tingchuan was driving and looked at him in confusion.

"Let's go buy a phone." Xu Tingchuan focused on driving.

Ni Sitian looked at him in surprise. Did he mean he wanted to go shopping with her? Was he going to make up for Ms. Jin Rulan being unjustly scolded by her roommate today?

If Xu Tingchuan knew what Ni Sitian was thinking right now, he would definitely give her a good whack.
