Chapter 330 Christmas Gifts

Before getting their marriage certificate, Xu Tingchuan's preconditions could be summarized as three things he didn't want to do.

No wedding, no love, no clingy people.

Ni Sitian had been adhering to these rules all along, but he himself kept breaking them one by one.

"Cough." Xu Tingchuan also felt that he had embarrassed himself and was now very annoyed at how he had come up with those words to Ni Sitian.

Seeing his frustrated look, Ni Sitian couldn't help but laugh. She very considerately gave him a way out, saying, "Actually, having a wedding is not a bad idea. Anyway, it only happens once in a lifetime, and it won't be a second time even if it's troublesome."

"Hmm, what kind do you like?" Xu Tingchuan hugged her tighter.

"Um, let me think about it." Ni Sitian hadn't considered this at all before. After thinking for a while, she said, "I want blue skies, white clouds, beaches, flowing white dresses, blooming flowers, a tall champagne tower, and colorful helium balloons..."

As Ni Sitian spoke, she gave a delicate yawn, her voice becoming a little slurred.

Xu Tingchuan stopped when he heard her voice, looked down at her, and saw that she had closed her eyes and was asleep. He then pulled the blanket up and covered her shoulders.

He pulled a small box out of his pocket, took out the contents, touched Ni Sitian's cheeks, and then withdrew his hand with a slight smile.

"Goodnight," he whispered, lowering his head to kiss her forehead.

Then, he tightened his arms around her and slowly closed his eyes.

The next day, Xu Tingchuan was blinded by a beam of light. He squinted and opened his eyes to see that the sky was still gray, and a pale yellow halo was slowly creeping out of the clouds.

"The sun is out." Xu Tingchuan gently patted Ni Sitian, who was sleeping soundly against his chest.

"Stop fooling around..." Ni Sitian rubbed her cheek against hers, showing no intention of getting up.

Xu Tingchuan smiled faintly, embraced her, and watched the morning light slowly emerge, dispelling the misty darkness of the night.

The warm winter sun felt especially comfortable, and he couldn't help but close his eyes to feel the sunlight caressing his face.

When Ni Sitian woke up, the sun was already high in the sky. She sat up in surprise and saw that the sun was shining brightly and the sky was bright.

Xu Tingchuan also sat up. He had been lying on her back for so many hours, and now half of his body was numb.

After stretching a little, he patted Ni Sitian's head and asked, "Did you sleep well last night?"

Ni Sitian bit her lip in annoyance: "I slept too well, it's such a pity I didn't see the sunrise."

Xu Tingchuan smiled faintly, took out his phone, pulled up the photo, and handed it to her, "I took a picture for you."

"Why didn't you wake me up when you woke up!" Ni Sitian glared at him angrily when she saw the photos he had taken. "We agreed to look at them together."

"I can see you're really tired." Xu Tingchuan placed his hand on Ni Sitian's cheek, his thumb gently stroking the sleep marks on her face.

"I didn't see it with you." Ni Sitian was still a little disappointed.

"We'll see next time, okay?" Xu Tingchuan coaxed her gently.

Ni Sitian had no choice but to nod.

The two descended from the watchtower, took the morning ferry, and returned to the city.

As she got into the car, Ni Sitian noticed something on her ear in the rearview mirror. She reached up and touched it; it was an earring. She then leaned closer to the mirror and saw that it was a pair of pink diamond earrings shaped like apples.

"What is this?" Ni Sitian turned her head to look at Xu Tingchuan, who was about to start the car.

Xu Tingchuan glanced at her and said casually, "It's probably a gift from Santa Claus."

Ni Sitian's expression was complicated, her eyes filled with tears and a smile. She couldn't help but rush over and hug him tightly!
