Xu Tingchuan looked at Ni Sitian, who was still hanging her head in regret as she got into the car, and couldn't help but chuckle: "I don't mind, so why do you mind?"
Ni Sitian looked up at him, and then realized that he was indeed the one whose image was damaged, so she couldn't help but laugh.
She can come whenever she wants in the future, but he has no choice; he has to come.
As I thought about it, I chuckled and felt cheerful.
"You little ingrate." Xu Tingchuan was driving when he reached out and pinched her cheek. He was trying to comfort her, but she was actually taking pleasure in it.
Ni Sitian pursed her lips, stopped laughing, and turned her head to look out the window, secretly amused.
Xu Tingchuan took Ni Sitian to a private restaurant. The environment was quiet and peaceful. It was located in a large courtyard and had only five private rooms. It was a small restaurant, but very elegant.
"Don't tell me this place belongs to Pei Yang too?" Ni Sitian whispered to Xu Tingchuan.
"No." Xu Tingchuan smiled faintly and led her into the private room. "It was Pei Yang who discovered it. He's very familiar with the chef here."
"Who doesn't he know well?" Ni Sitian smiled. Among their group of friends, Pei Yang was probably the most sociable.
Xu Tingchuan chuckled and shook his head. "Your understanding of Pei Yang is too superficial."
Ni Sitian looked at Xu Tingchuan curiously, "What do you mean by that?"
Xu Tingchuan ordered the food first, handed the menu to the waiter, and then looked at Ni Sitian, saying indifferently, "He seems to know everyone, but he doesn't really know anyone."
"Um, you mean he's warm on the outside but cold on the inside? He doesn't seem like it." Ni Sitian thought Pei Yang was quite enthusiastic.
"That's because you only saw him when he was with us. You haven't seen him when he's surrounded by his brothers and sisters." Xu Tingchuan didn't want to talk too much about the Pei family's situation, so he just said it briefly and then added, "You'll understand in time."
Ni Sitian nodded thoughtfully. It seemed that among them, Gu Chen was the most normal, neither warm nor cold, calm and polite. Pei Yang was warm on the outside but cold on the inside, and Shen Muzhi was cold both inside and out.
As for Xu Tingchuan... could he be considered cold on the outside but warm on the inside?
Ni Sitian looked up at him and felt that he was not so easy to define; he was rather complicated and contradictory.
She felt that it would probably take her a lifetime to understand him.

A sweet smile involuntarily appeared on her lips as she glanced at Xu Tingchuan again.
Xu Tingchuan saw her looking at him with a silly smile, wondering what she was thinking.
As the dishes were served one after another, Ni Sitian first served Xu Tingchuan a bowl of duck soup before starting to eat herself.
After taking a few sips of soup, she suddenly felt something was wrong. She scooped some soup into the bowl and sure enough, she saw very thin bamboo shoot strips!
She quickly looked at Xu Tingchuan and saw that he had already drunk a little from his soup bowl!
"There are bamboo shoots in here! Spit them out quickly!" Ni Sitian stood up, patted his back, and looked very anxious.
She remembered Xu Tingchuan telling her that he was allergic to bamboo shoots, and thinking about how Fu Wenuan had just had an allergic reaction, she became extremely anxious.
Xu Tingchuan paused for a moment, then looked at the bowl of soup and frowned.
"Spit it out quickly!" Ni Sitian became even more anxious when she saw that he was unmoved.

"It's really nothing," Xu Tingchuan said with a faint smile. "Look how anxious you are."
