Ni Sitian was horrified. Her hands trembled as she took out her phone to call Xu Tingchuan, but his phone was already busy.
She dialed twice but couldn't get through, probably because Xu Tingchuan was currently overwhelmed with factory matters.
She bit her lip, trying desperately to calm herself down.
He was already busy enough at this point, and I couldn't hold him back any longer.
Ni Sitian took a few deep breaths, trying to suppress her fear. Looking at the cardboard box fragments and bomb wreckage scattered on the ground, her hands still trembled uncontrollably.
If that were a real bomb, she'd probably be dead by now.
Suddenly, the doorbell rang. She was startled, hesitated for a moment, and then walked towards the door.
She cautiously peeked through the peephole and, seeing it was Xu Jiayue, immediately opened the door with delight and hugged her tightly.
Xu Jiayue was taken aback for a moment, then raised her hand and gently patted her, laughing, "Didn't you and your brother go on a trip? I just got a call from him, and he didn't say anything but asked me to come and keep you company. What's going on?"
Ni Sitian thought that Xu Tingchuan might have called Xu Jiayue because he was worried after taking her home.
After a while, she calmed down, released Xu Jiayue, and invited her into the house to talk.
As soon as Xu Jiayue stepped inside, she saw wreckage and debris scattered all over the living room, and the air still smelled of gunpowder.
She strode over, squatted down to examine it, and frowned: "How did this end up in the house? It's a makeshift explosive device!"
Ni Sitian bit her lip. "The package I received at the property management office just now suddenly exploded when I got home."
Xu Jiayue was shocked and quickly checked Ni Sitian, anxiously asking, "Are you hurt?"
"I dodged quickly, I'm fine." Ni Sitian only bumped her hip when she fell to the ground, it wasn't serious, just a little sore, probably a bruise.
"How could this be? Who sent this package?" Xu Jiayue's mind raced, and her eyes widened. "Was it Li Rui?"
Ni Sitian also made this guess, but at this point, it's just a guess.

Let’s go back to the mansion.” Xu Jiayue examined the wreckage carefully and found that it did not have a timer. Her brows furrowed even more as she stood up and took Ni Sitian’s hand.
Upon hearing this, Ni Sitian recalled feeling as if someone was following her when she entered the building.
If it was the person who remotely detonated the device, then it would indeed be extremely dangerous.
“Okay, I’ll pack some things and go back to the mansion with you.” Ni Sitian quickly packed a backpack and walked back to Xu Jiayue’s side. “We can go now.”
The two hurriedly went downstairs, and Ni Sitian got into Xu Jiayue's car, heading towards the Xu family mansion together.
