In the past few days, Ni Sitian has clearly noticed how busy Xu Tingchuan has been.

"Something happened to the third brother, why don't you come out first?" Pei Yang said, pursing his lips.
Upon hearing this, Ni Sitian panicked and immediately got out of bed. Without even changing her clothes, she threw on a coat and hurriedly went downstairs.
The Xu family's garden was very large, and she was already panting and quite disheveled when she ran outside.
Pei Yang was truly stunned when he saw her like this.

"Why didn't you go to the hospital?" Ni Sitian felt dizzy just looking at the blood reflected in the water.
“M&K and he have been in the news a lot lately. Going to the hospital for a knife wound might cause some trouble,” Pei Yang said in a low voice. “Originally, Lao San didn’t want me to tell you, but I think it would be more convenient for you to come and take care of him.”
"Wasn't he the one who plotted against Li Rui? Even if he failed, how could he have gotten injured?"
"I'll tell you when Lao San wakes up. I still have some things to take care of. Please take good care of him." After saying that, Pei Yang turned and left the room.
Ni Sitian watched him leave, then turned her gaze back to Xu Tingchuan, who had his eyes closed, his face pale, and was sleeping very peacefully.
She sat down and gently took his hand in hers. His fingertips were cold from blood loss, and she held them as if trying to transfer her warmth to him.
