Ni Sitian had already spent the whole afternoon shopping with Xiang Zhilan, and then she had to walk around and stop with Xu Tingchuan and his group, so her feet were already tired.
While they stopped and chattered on about something, she took a moment to lean against the railing and rest.
Xu Tingchuan was listening to the mall manager when he suddenly realized that Ni Sitian was no longer beside him, so he turned around and looked back.
She was resting against the railing, smiling at him and gesturing for him to go to work while she waited for him.
He smiled faintly and looked away.
Lin Yi'an watched the exchange between the two of them, feeling a surge of resentment in her heart. She clenched her fists and lowered her eyes.
"Secretary Lin, Secretary Lin," Assistant Yu called out to Lin Yi'an twice, frowning. "Where are the documents?"
Lin Yi-an snapped out of her daze and immediately handed over the briefcase.
Ni Sitian leaned against the railing, feeling somewhat bored. She looked down from upstairs and saw that some celebrity seemed to be coming to an event downstairs. Yellow warning tape had been put up, and two rows of tall security guards were standing in front of the high-end watch store.
She was staring blankly out of boredom when she saw Fu Wenuan and a male celebrity being escorted by a group of people into the store. Her eyes lit up – the male celebrity was the male lead in a drama she had been watching recently! She had become somewhat infatuated with that character lately.
She was about to run downstairs to watch when she suddenly remembered that Xu Tingchuan was still there, so she hesitated for a moment.
Looking at Xu Tingchuan, who was still working, it seemed he wouldn't be finishing anytime soon.
She wanted to go and watch for a bit before coming back, so she hurried to the elevator and squeezed in with a bunch of people downstairs to watch.
Fu Wenwen spotted Ni Sitian in the crowd and smiled at her.
The event ended in less than ten minutes, and Fu Wenwen and the others were ushered out.
A staff member approached Ni Sitian and told her that Ms. Fu wanted to see her, so she went over.
Upon arriving at Fu Nuannuan's temporary rest room, Ni Sitian immediately saw Fu Nuannuan and Jiang Yun.
"Sitian." Fu Wenuan patted the seat next to her, inviting Ni Sitian to sit down.
Seeing Fu Wenuan surrounded by her assistants and dressing room staff, Ni Sitian finally felt a sense of reality that she was a celebrity.
"Coming shopping?" Fu Wenuan asked with a smile.
“Hmm.” Ni Sitian couldn’t help but glance at Jiang Yun, who was sitting back to Fu Wenwen. He was even more handsome in person than on TV.
Fu Wenuan noticed, leaned closer to her ear, and whispered, "You're here to chase after celebrities?"
Ni Sitian was embarrassed. She wasn't exactly a fan of celebrities, but she just happened to like the character in the drama, so she couldn't help but be curious and fond of the actor who played him.
"I'll get your autograph for you." Fu Wenuan smiled, and before Ni Sitian could stop her, she turned to Jiang Yun and said, "Senior Brother Ji, could you sign an autograph for my friend?"
Jiang Yun turned around, glanced at Ni Sitian, and smiled faintly: "Where should I sign?"
Ni Sitian quickly took out her newly bought sketch paper from the shopping bag and handed it over.
"Would you like to write your name on it?" Jiang Yun looked at Ni Sitian with a warm gaze.
"My name is Ni Sitian." She was a little excited, feeling that Jiang Yun seemed like a nice person, very similar to the gentle and affectionate second male lead in the drama.
Upon hearing this, Jiang Yun lowered her head, took a black ballpoint pen, and signed her name on the paper in a flamboyant manner before handing the sketch paper back.
"Thank you." Although Ni Sitian felt embarrassed, she was still very happy to get the autograph, and smiled with her eyes crinkling.
Just then, her phone rang. It was Xu Tingchuan calling. She said goodbye to Fu Wennuan, stood up, and walked out while answering the phone.
After telling Xu Tingchuan that she was in the lobby on the first floor, he told her to wait a moment and that he would come down to find her right away.
Ni Sitian put away her phone and carefully placed the signed sketch paper away.
