Chapter 395 All Strawberries

Ni Sitian felt a little embarrassed by that strange look. "What's wrong?"

Xu Jiayue chuckled and said meaningfully, "You're covered in strawberries, why are you even picking strawberries?"

Hearing her say that, Ni Sitian hurriedly looked down and saw that she had come in a hurry and hadn't put on a scarf. Her neck and collarbone were bare and covered with marks from Xu Tingchuan's caresses the night before.

She blushed and quickly tried to cover herself with her coat, but she couldn't hide all the marks.

"Haha, you two have such a good relationship, my New Year's wish to hug my nephew and niece shouldn't be too far off," Xu Jiayue joked, her laughter hearty.

Ni Sitian's face was as red as a strawberry. It was all Xu Tingchuan's fault. Why did he always kiss her neck? He knew perfectly well that her neck was ticklish, and it was so conspicuous...

Ni Sitian had just cursed the culprit in her mind when she heard a clear and familiar voice behind her: "You're up. Did you sleep well?"

Xu Tingchuan walked over and squatted down beside her.

Ni Sitian turned around and glared at him resentfully. How dare he say that!

"I didn't call you because I was afraid you'd be too tired," Xu Tingchuan explained, suppressing a laugh, immediately understanding the meaning in her eyes.

"I'm so tired because of you!" Ni Sitian pouted, her almond-shaped eyes widening.

"Ahem." Xu Jiayue coughed lightly, covering her mouth. "Hey you two, I know you had a great time last night, but could you please stop showing off your love in front of a single guy like me?"

Ni Sitian then remembered that Xu Jiayue was still beside her, and bit her lip in annoyance. What nonsense had she just spouted!

Xu Tingchuan rubbed her head, reached out and took her hand, pulled her up, and said, "Let's go to the shed next door to pick radishes."

Ni Sitian nodded repeatedly, now desperately wanting to get out of Xu Jiayue's sight.

Xu Tingchuan suppressed a laugh, then pulled her out of the strawberry shed and into the radish shed.

Just as Ni Sitian was about to squat down to dig up radishes, Xu Tingchuan took off his scarf and wrapped it around Ni Sitian's neck, making sure it was tightly wrapped around her neck, saying, "Be careful not to catch a cold."

The scarf still held his warm body heat, and Ni Sitian instantly felt warm all over. She obediently said thank you.

"Silly girl, isn't this the scarf you bought?" Xu Tingchuan said with a faint smile.

Ni Sitian scratched her head and gave a silly smile. Now, not only was her body warm, but her heart was also filled with sweetness.

"Come and pull up the radishes." Xu Tingchuan squatted down and handed her the gloves for digging radishes.

Ni Sitian squatted down to take it, and then together they dealt with the big radish in the soil.

After working for half an hour, I picked a whole basket of white radishes and filled it to the brim.

Ni Sitian hadn't eaten breakfast and was growling with hunger, so Xu Tingchuan picked up a basket and led her out while holding her hand.

"Dad, that's a wrap. Let's go home for lunch," Xu Tingchuan called out to Xu Haicheng.

Ni Sitian clearly saw Jin Rulan in the shed closer to them, but Xu Tingchuan didn't call out to her.

So Ni Sitian called out to Jin Rulan, "Mom, we've pulled up a lot of radishes, let's go back for lunch."

Jin Rulan gracefully took off her gloves, and even though there was mud on her sleeves, she still maintained her noble demeanor.

"Okay, coming right away," Jin Rulan replied to Ni Sitian, picking up the shopping basket.

When Ni Sitian saw that Jin Rulan's basket was filled with yams, broccoli, potatoes and other vegetables, and looked heavy, she let go of Xu Tingchuan's hand and went over to help Jin Rulan carry the basket.
