After ending her call with Ni Tianzhen, Ni Sitian saw a layer of white fog outside, pushed open the glass door of the balcony, and went outside.
The morning wind in March was still a bit sharp, whistling against her face, and all her drowsiness had vanished.
Looking down from the high-rise building, the view below is obscured by a thick fog.
Ni Sitian stared blankly for a moment, and then suddenly a shawl appeared on her shoulders.
She turned her head and saw Xu Tingchuan standing beside her.
"Did I wake you up?" Ni Sitian smiled apologetically.
Xu Tingchuan pulled the shawl around her and shook his head, saying, "I wasn't woken up. I didn't feel you next to me when I turned over, so I woke up naturally."
Hearing this, Ni Sitian felt a warmth in her heart. She hugged his arm, leaned against his shoulder, and smiled, "Can't you fall asleep without holding me?"
"Yes," Xu Tingchuan admitted very frankly.
He used to not like anyone being around when he slept, let alone being touched.
When he first married Ni Sitian, he felt a little uncomfortable with her lying next to him, and for a while, he even had trouble sleeping. Later, he gradually got used to her scent, and then he let her hold him while he slept. Now, he feels empty if he doesn't hold her while he sleeps.
Every day, every little thing is changing, and life has left a deep imprint of her mark on his heart.
He's reached the point where he feels uncomfortable without her sleeping next to him.
"Let's go inside, don't get cold." Xu Tingchuan put his arm around her shoulder and gently embraced her as they turned and walked into the house.
It was still early, but Ni Sitian was wide awake. After entering the house, she pushed Xu Tingchuan to rest, saying, "I'll make you breakfast today. Go lie down for a while longer."
"You can't sleep even if you lie down, I'll keep you company." Xu Tingchuan put his arm around Ni Sitian's shoulder from behind, rested his chin on the top of Ni Sitian's head, and hung on her like a large dog.
"With you like this, I can't even move. How am I supposed to make breakfast?" Ni Sitian said, amused and helpless.
“Actually, I eat more than breakfast…” Xu Tingchuan lowered his face, pressing it close to Ni Sitian’s, his lips barely touching her ear: “You.”
Ni Sitian's ears burned from his breath. She half-squatted down and pulled herself out of his arms, blushing and scolding, "Don't be silly in broad daylight. Go lie down quickly. I'll be done in a bit."
As she spoke, she pushed him into the bedroom, shoved him inside, and slammed the door shut.
Xu Tingchuan shook his head and chuckled, then went back to bed and lay down, but he really couldn't fall asleep. He reached out and picked up Ni Sitian's iPad.
She set a password. He smiled slightly, entered her birthday, but it didn't open. Then he entered his own birthday, but it still didn't open.
With a memory as bad as hers, how could she possibly have something easy to remember like her birthday?
Xu Tingchuan paused for a moment, thought for a moment, and then entered their marriage registration date.
The screen is unlocked.
His eyes crinkled into a smile. He had only intended to try it out, but upon learning that her password was this, he felt a warm glow spread through his heart.
I was about to put my iPad back on the bedside table when I accidentally touched Weibo, and the page immediately opened.
When he saw her Weibo username, his brows furrowed.
Sinan heads north.
It's obvious who the character "北" represents.
Xu Tingchuan's fingertips stiffened for a moment as he saw that she had verified her account and had a verified account, with a personal profile below.
This Weibo username is not only her Weibo username, but also her pen name.
