"Who do you like more?" Xu Tingchuan stared into Ni Sitian's eyes.
Ni Sitian was a little taken aback. Why was he suddenly jealous of Qin Mubei again? Hadn't the matter already been made perfectly clear?
"Hmm?" Xu Tingchuan stared intently at her, not allowing her to dodge in the slightest.
“Of course it’s you now,” Ni Sitian replied, blushing.
Xu Tingchuan wasn't very satisfied with the answer, and frowned: "What do you mean by 'now'?"
“I didn’t know you before.” Ni Sitian looked at his furrowed brow and said with amusement, “Why are you jealous so early in the morning? We’re not having dumplings for breakfast today.”
"You can only like me, whether in the past, present, or future," Xu Tingchuan said in a deep, domineering voice.
"Okay, okay." Ni Sitian felt that he was being stubborn and serious like a child, so she helplessly coaxed him as if he were a child.
Xu Tingchuan felt that her agreement was a bit perfunctory, and continued with some dissatisfaction: "Regardless of whether you were infatuated with him before or something else, from now on, you are only allowed to like me, only allowed to be infatuated with me, only allowed to admire me, only allowed to be a fangirl over me."
This vinegar spill was no ordinary spill; those four "only allow" were so domineering and forceful that she had no room to back down. It seems she won't even be able to watch TV dramas or like male idols anymore.
"Should we put up a sign for me that says 'Owned by Xu Tingchuan, No Strangers Allowed'?" Ni Sitian said, both helpless and amused.
"I think your idea is quite good." Xu Tingchuan looked her over, as if observing where he could hang her.
Ni Sitian lightly punched him, but still made her point clear: "I don't know why you've suddenly become jealous again, but I want to tell you that, whether compared horizontally or vertically, my feelings for you far surpass my infatuation with him back then."
She looked quite embarrassed after she finished speaking, lowered her head, and whispered, "Don't ask such stupid questions in the future."
"Hmm." Xu Tingchuan smiled slightly, his brow relaxing.
With her words, the question of whether to go south or north became completely unimportant.
"You haven't answered me yet, why are you suddenly bringing up old grievances?" Ni Sitian remembered and looked up at him.
Xu Tingchuan coughed lightly. He couldn't very well admit that he had cracked her password and peeked at her Weibo, could he?
"I'm hungry, and the sandwich seems to be getting cold. You should come out and eat too." He said as he walked out, leaving Ni Sitian alone in the bathroom.
Ni Sitian frowned slightly, then relaxed her brow and shook her head helplessly.
No wonder people say that people in love have negative IQs. Even someone as smart and shrewd as Xu Tingchuan is no exception, acting like a child who is bothersome.
She smiled and then began brushing her teeth and washing her face.
After having breakfast, the two drove off.
Xu Tingchuan drove Ni Sitian to Wu Miaoshui's place. When the car arrived outside Wu Miaoshui's yard, he saw a white Ferrari.
He frowned slightly, his gaze darkening as he watched Jiang Yun get out of the Ferrari.
Ni Sitian had been looking at her phone the whole time and hadn't noticed this. After the car stopped, she looked down to unbuckle her seatbelt and prepared to get out.
Xu Tingchuan grabbed her wrist, and she turned around in confusion. Suddenly, his face loomed large in her eyes, and his lips pressed against hers again.
She paused for a second, then reached out and wrapped her arms around his neck, giving him a passionate farewell kiss.
