Ni Sitian slowly looked up along his swan-like long neck, and his face made her breathless.
This was the most beautiful face she had ever seen, bar none, regardless of gender or even celebrity.
Although his face was somewhat sickly pale, the combination of his features and his temperament was perfectly harmonious. His light golden curly hair and light blue eyes made him look like a prince who had stepped out of an ancient castle.
Ni Sitian's mouth dropped open slightly as she watched, and she even forgot that Xu Tingchuan was still standing next to her.
Even his lazy yawns exuded elegance, as if he were surrounded by an ethereal aura.
The man walked down the street, still half asleep, casually raised his hand at Xu Tingchuan, and then spoke a long string of French.
Ni Sitian's gaze had been fixed on this man from the very beginning. Although she couldn't understand French, it sounded exceptionally beautiful to him, like the language of elves.
When the man's light blue eyes fell on her, Ni Sitian couldn't help but smile foolishly.
If there were a mirror right now so she could see her infatuated self, she'd probably smash her head against a tofu block.
"Ting, is this your wife?" The man couldn't help but chuckle as he looked at her smile.
Xu Tingchuan's face darkened. Looking at Ni Sitian's infatuated expression, he felt a little regretful for bringing her here.
Ni Sitian was quite surprised to hear that this handsome French man spoke fluent Chinese.
Suddenly, the man brought his face close to Ni Sitian's, startling her so much that she took a half step back.
Xu Tingchuan pushed the man's forehead away and pulled Ni Sitian into his arms.
“Ting, you’re being too petty.” The man looked at Ni Sitian and winked at her. “If you can’t stand him anymore, you’re welcome to come to me anytime.”
Ni Sitian was a little dazzled by his gaze. Xu Tingchuan squeezed her palm, which brought her back to her senses, and she turned her gaze to Xu Tingchuan.
Xu Tingchuan's face darkened slightly, and she immediately squeezed his fingers reassuringly.
Xu Tingchuan's expression softened slightly, and he introduced the two to each other.
However, Ni Sitian still didn't understand why Xu Tingchuan had brought her to meet this Mr. Battis.
"Let's go upstairs." Battis winked at Ni Sitian again.
Xu Tingchuan flashed in front of Ni Sitian, blocking her gaze.
Ni Sitian couldn't help but laugh. If he was so jealous, why did he bring her to meet this man?
"Shut up your drool," Xu Tingchuan said to her in a deep voice as he led her upstairs.
"Is Mr. Battis a Hollywood star? He's so handsome," Ni Sitian asked him quietly, her voice filled with doubt.
“He’s a designer,” Xu Tingchuan said casually. Seeing the infatuation in Ni Sitian’s eyes, he lowered his voice and said, “He likes men.”
Ni Sitian's starry eyes instantly lit up, and Xu Tingchuan was finally satisfied, leading her to continue walking.
Battis, who was walking ahead, sneezed, rubbed his nose, and turned to look at Xu Tingchuan suspiciously: "Did you say something bad about me?"
Xu Tingchuan looked at him openly and honestly, showing no sign of guilt for lying earlier.
After hearing Xu Tingchuan's words, Ni Sitian's gaze toward Battis became somewhat strange.
She wasn't homophobic or discriminatory, of course; she simply couldn't see that Battis would like men. Although he was handsome, he wasn't effeminate; rather, he was elegant and noble, like a graceful Persian cat.
