Chapter 476 The Most Precious

While Ni Sitian was still stunned by the beauty, Xu Tingchuan said to Battis, "Let's take this one. Have someone deliver it to the Cyvas cruise ship at Pier 6 on the 20th."

"Ting, aren't you even going to ask the price?" Battis raised his handsome long eyebrows slightly.

“Your clothes are priceless; talking about money is too vulgar.” Xu Tingchuan knew that Battis wouldn’t ask him for money.

“That makes sense, but if you want to take this priceless treasure, you’ll have to pay a price.” Battis crossed his arms and began to look Xu Tingchuan up and down: “Since this dress is about the love between a mermaid and a human, you’ll naturally have to exchange it for your most precious possession.”

Ni Sitian then came to her senses and saw Battis's long eyes smilingly scanning Xu Tingchuan's body. She immediately remembered what Xu Tingchuan had told her before: Battis liked men.

Could he... he not have fallen for Xu Tingchuan?!

Ni Sitian quickly stepped in front of Xu Tingchuan, watching Battis warily.

Batista chuckled. What was with this little woman acting like a chick protecting its mother hen?

He shrugged, walked over to them, and reached out to put his hand on Xu Tingchuan's shoulder.

Ni Sitian quickly grabbed his hand and said firmly, "Don't touch him, we won't switch."

Battis quickly pulled her hand away, her cheeks flushing instantly, a stark contrast to her previous languid demeanor. She stammered shyly, "You, how could you touch me?"

Ni Sitian was taken aback by this sudden change in tone; his expression seemed to imply that she had taken liberties with him!

"Uh, sorry..."

As Ni Sitian was apologizing, before she could finish speaking, Battis hurriedly walked away with his arms crossed.

Now, Ni Sitian was truly bewildered. He liked men, but surely he didn't hate women to this extent?

"Mrs. Xu, thank you for saving me just now." Xu Tingchuan suppressed a laugh, hugged Ni Sitian, and kissed her.

He would never tell her that Battis didn't like men at all, and that he was extremely shy when touched by women—a personality trait completely at odds with his profession.

"Did I do something wrong?" Ni Sitian was completely bewildered.

Xu Tingchuan smiled faintly and told the maids standing outside the door to let them in to help Ni Sitian try on the dress.

While Ni Sitian was changing her dress, Xu Tingchuan went out and found Batista, whose ears were still red.

"You've already encountered what's most precious to me. Give me the result of what I told you last time before June," Xu Tingchuan said in a low voice, looking at Battis.

"What? When did I touch your most precious thing?" Battis frowned slightly.

"I was inside just now."

"You mean her?!" Battis exclaimed in surprise.

Xu Tingchuan nodded. "Yes, she is the most precious thing to me."

“It wasn’t my idea,” Battis said, blushing slightly.

Xu Tingchuan's face darkened. A man blushing so easily in front of him because of his wife's touch? Anyone who didn't know better would think there was something going on!

He said calmly, "Anyway, by June, you will have to hand over what I want."

“You’re completely different from before.” Battis narrowed his eyes slightly, but couldn’t quite put his finger on exactly how.

Xu Tingchuan had one hand in his pocket, and regardless of whether he answered or not, he took it as a yes.

He walked back to the dress showroom, pushed open the door, and it was as if a powerful light shone into his eyes.
