Ni Sitian's perception of Pei Yang has changed drastically; it's like seeing a moving mountain of gold.
Pei Yang didn't notice Ni Sitian's gaze for the moment. He walked in gracefully with one hand in his pocket.
"This room is quite nice. I specially had someone clean and decorate it for you. All the furnishings are new, and the bed is new too. You can enjoy yourselves tonight..." Pei Yang didn't finish his sentence, but he raised an eyebrow meaningfully.
The meaning couldn't be clearer. Ni Sitian's cheeks were burning hot; Pei Yang had just caught her kissing Xu Tingchuan.
"Don't you understand what 'don't look at what is improper' means?" Xu Tingchuan's good time was interrupted, and he looked at Pei Yang with a slightly dark expression.
Pei Yang shrugged and laughed indifferently, "I really don't understand."
Looking at Pei Yang now, Ni Sitian felt that he was shining with gold, and that his teeth, which he showed when he smiled, were diamonds.
Pei Yang then noticed that Ni Sitian's gaze was strange; why was she looking at him with that money-grubbing expression?
"Third brother, has your wife fallen for me instead?" he couldn't help but joke with Xu Tingchuan.
Xu Tingchuan punched him hard in the chest and looked at him warningly.
"Tsk, you're even jealous of this kind of joke? Why don't you just soak in the sea and turn this place into a sea of vinegar?" Pei Yang clutched his chest; it really did hurt a little.
"You'd better watch out, or I'll throw you into the sea to play with the sharks."
"Haha, have you forgotten whose territory this is? I can't beat you on land, but here at sea, this is my domain." Pei Yang raised an eyebrow.
Ni Sitian tugged at Xu Tingchuan's sleeve, signaling him to stop arguing with Pei Yang, and then she interjected, "Yes, you're right, this is your place, but you're not the kind of person who bullies others. How about we play a game tonight?"
They were just joking around, but when they heard Ni Sitian's words, they couldn't help but look at her.
"We need to rest now. See you at the banquet tonight." Ni Sitian linked arms with Xu Tingchuan, leaning her head on his shoulder, and smiled as she ushered the guests away.
Pei Yang felt bad about disturbing the young couple any longer, so he turned and left the room, closing the door behind him.
"What kind of crazy idea are you thinking of?" Xu Tingchuan felt uneasy for Pei Yang when he saw her secretly smiling.
"What do you mean by 'mischievous idea'? Your wife is trying to help you save money. Don't forget to give me a portion as a reward later." Ni Sitian suppressed a laugh and tapped his nose like he was imitating him.
“Okay, I’ll reward you with twenty percent,” Xu Tingchuan agreed with a smile.
As the two were talking, Ni Sitian's phone rang. She picked it up and heard that Xiang Zhilan and the others had arrived. She then said to Xu Tingchuan, "I'll go pick them up."
Xu Tingchuan nodded. He had a video conference with the United States to attend, so he wouldn't go with her.
Ni Sitian walked out of the long corridor on the heavy carpet, took the elevator down, and went up to the deck. There she saw Zhi Lan holding Feng Jingxian's arm, while Feng Jingxian was handing a small duffel bag to a crew member.
She went up to them and said with a smile, "Let me take you to your room."
She arranged for Zhi Lan and the others to stay on her floor as well. At the time, she asked Zhi Lan whether she wanted to stay alone or with Feng Jingxian.
Fortunately, Zhi Lan requested a private room, which should indicate that her relationship with Feng Jingxian hasn't progressed to that point yet.
So she told Xu Tingchuan that it would be fine if their rooms were next to each other.
