Ni Sitian woke up in Xu Tingchuan's arms, gave a delicate yawn, opened her eyes and looked up at Xu Tingchuan's face.
A few wispy stubbles had sprouted on his chin, and she had a mischievous thought, so she reached out to pluck them.
Xu Tingchuan suddenly felt a pain in his chin. When he opened his eyes, he saw the little woman in his arms with a mischievous smile on her lips.
"Good morning." Ni Sitian blinked her big eyes, looking innocent and cute as if she hadn't done anything.
"Good morning," Xu Tingchuan said, pulling her close, burying his chin in her neck, and rubbing his stubble against her delicate skin.
Ni Sitian was itchy from the stubble, and giggled as she tried to get away.
Xu Tingchuan, however, did not let her go. He pressed her down and rubbed against her, using his chin to rub against her neck and cheek, and then continued downwards.
"Oh... how could you..." Ni Sitian blushed. Her skin there was the most delicate, and he rubbed it until it felt numb. She quickly used both hands to hold his head up, preventing him from continuing his misbehavior.
Xu Tingchuan reached his hand through her back, lifted her body up, and continued to rub her with his stubble.
"Stop fooling around..." Ni Sitian felt weak all over, and her voice carried a kind of coquettish charm.
Xu Tingchuan knew she wasn't truly against it, so he became even more agitated, stirring things up everywhere.
The morning exercise began, but unfortunately, before Xu Tingchuan could even ride his horse freely, the doorbell rang.
The two people, both somewhat aroused, froze for a moment. Ni Sitian reacted first and reached out to push Xu Tingchuan, "Go open the door quickly."

The moment he opened the door and saw Pei Yang, his face immediately darkened. "Knocking on the door so early in the morning, if you don't give me a good reason..."
"Something happened to Mu Zhi." Pei Yang lowered his voice, glancing towards the bedroom door as he spoke.
Seeing the way he spoke, as if Ni Sitian couldn't know about this, Xu Tingchuan's expression turned serious: "What happened?"
Pei Yang leaned closer and explained the situation between Shen Muzhi and Xiang Zhilan.
Xu Tingchuan's expression changed slightly, and his brows gradually furrowed.
“I’ve already ordered a full-speed return to port. The ship’s doctor at Mu Zhi’s place has temporarily stopped the bleeding, so there’s nothing seriously wrong. But things are not so good with Xiang Zhi Lan. I just rang the doorbell, but she hasn’t opened the door. Xu Tingchuan understood Pei Yang's meaning. Xiang Zhilan had just gone through something like this, and probably wouldn't want to see anyone related to Shen Muzhi right now.
