Ni Sitian watched Xiang Zhilan enter the building before turning around and walking out.
Xu Tingchuan opened the car door, shielded Ni Sitian with his hand from the roof, and helped her inside. He then sat in the back seat himself.

"Get lost!" Ni Sitian playfully slapped him. "I was serious."
Xu Tingchuan's smile faded, and he became serious. "Your analysis is indeed reasonable. Feng Jingxian is not that simple, and he likes Xiang Zhilan just as much. At least he can't like Xiang Zhilan as much as she does."
“Yes, I was so naive before. I thought he loved Zhi Lan because he was so considerate to her. Now it seems that all those little acts of consideration were just for show.” Ni Sitian sighed softly. “Zhi Lan likes him so much and has waited for him for more than ten years. She must be very sad to know this, which is why she avoids him like this.”
