Ni Sitian raised her hands up again, her smile deepening.
Xu Tingchuan lowered his head slightly, closed his eyes, and silently made a wish in his heart.
He could hardly remember the last time he made a birthday wish like this. He was probably five or six years old. He was an ordinary child who was precocious from a young age and felt that making wishes was useless.
Because he used to make a sincere wish in front of his birthday cake, hoping that his parents would come back to be with him, but he was disappointed time and time again. Gradually, he stopped liking to celebrate his birthday. Even if he did celebrate, he would usually just eat and play with Pei Yang and the others for a short while.
After making his wish, he opened his eyes. Ni Sitian hadn't turned on the light, and the moonlight shone in obliquely, vaguely illuminating her face.
Perhaps because his eyes had already adapted to the darkness, he could clearly see the little cherries decorating the cake; the cake, about half the size of his palm, was very small and cute.
"Did you make this yourself?" Xu Tingchuan picked up a small fork from the plate. Seeing Ni Sitian's appreciation, he smiled faintly, forked a small piece, and put it in his mouth. It had a light cream flavor, wasn't greasy, and was quite easy to eat.
"Is it delicious?" Ni Sitian asked expectantly.
"Hmm, this is the most refreshing cake I've ever eaten." Just as Xu Tingchuan was about to fork the cherry, Ni Sitian picked up the cherry stem.
She put the cherry into her mouth. Xu Tingchuan thought she was just being greedy. He didn't expect that she would half-bite the cherry with her pearly teeth, raise her body slightly, and bring it close to his mouth. She wrapped one arm around his neck and gently pushed the cherry into his mouth with the tip of her tongue.
After making this seductive gesture, Ni Sitian's cheeks turned bright red. She was glad that it was only moonlight, otherwise it would have been so embarrassing if she were seen with her face as red as a monkey's bottom.
Xu Tingchuan pressed down on the back of her head as she tried to back away with his large hand, bit the cherry in his mouth, pushed half of it back with the tip of his tongue, but did not withdraw it from her mouth. Instead, he playfully rolled up her tongue.
Ni Sitian boldly straddled his lap, put down the plate, wrapped her arms around his neck, and lowered her head to passionately return his kiss.
After a long, passionate kiss, their breaths were warm as they pressed their foreheads together and breathed softly to calm themselves.
"Where's the gift?" Xu Tingchuan asked in a hoarse voice.
“Isn’t it right on you?” Ni Sitian raised her arm slightly and turned on the wall lamp behind the sofa.
The room brightened up a bit, and Xu Tingchuan then noticed that Ni Sitian was wearing a light red deep-V dress.
The dress is supported by a ribbon tied behind the neck; with a gentle pull on the ribbon, the gift is unwrapped.
"Do you like it?" It was the first time Ni Sitian had worn this kind of dress, and she felt like a gift waiting for him to unwrap it. Her cheeks were probably even redder than the color of the dress she was wearing.
Xu Tingchuan raised his hand to brush away the stray hairs from her cheek, his hand slowly sliding down to the ribbon.
This bow-tying method will cause the whole thing to come undone if you only pull on one side.
Xu Tingchuan twirled the ribbon between his fingers and slowly descended, the chiffon fabric sliding down with incredible smoothness.
Ni Sitian was so embarrassed by his staring that she couldn't lift her head. She thought to herself, "What is he looking at? Why isn't he doing anything?" Being stared at like this was even more embarrassing than doing anything.
"We haven't finished the cake yet." Xu Tingchuan picked up a small plate from the side.
Ni Sitian was stunned. Why eat cake at a time like this? Shouldn't they be eating her?
Just as she was wondering what was going on, Xu Tingchuan actually... actually smeared the entire cake all over her...
He even slowly ate a bite of the cream stuck to it!
Ni Sitian's face instantly turned bright red, the contrast between the cool cream and his warm lips was too stimulating.
