That evening, Ni Sitian nestled in Xu Tingchuan's arms and brought up the matter of Xiang Zhilan and Shen Muzhi getting married.
She had wanted to see his surprised expression, but to her surprise, he remained quite calm, as if it were expected.
"Aren't you surprised at all?" Ni Sitian rested her hand on his chest, propping her chin up as she looked at him.
Xu Tingchuan was reading a book and calmly turned a page. "What's so surprising?"
With Xiang Zhilan pregnant, Shen Muzhi could easily guess what he would do. Moreover, the Shen family would never allow the child to be left out in the wild; she was determined to enter the Shen family.
However, he could understand Ni Sitian's surprise, since she had no idea that Xiang Zhilan was pregnant.
"Do you think it's possible that Shen Muzhi might like Zhi Lan more than Su Yan?" Ni Sitian thought that since they were already married, she could only offer her blessings, but she was still worried about this one thing.
She felt sorry for Zhi Lan, having to compete with a dead person for a place in her husband's heart. Fortunately, Zhi Lan didn't know how much she resembled Su Yan.

"I like to hold the event in Yihai; it feels familiar. As for those other places, we can go there when we have time to travel."

“We’ll celebrate November 21st.” Xu Tingchuan couldn’t help but smile.
Ni Sitian looked around in confusion, unable to think of anything special about this day, and asked, "Why this day?"
"This is..." Xu Tingchuan leaned close to Ni Sitian's ear and whispered, "The day we become a real couple."

Xu Tingchuan sealed her pink lips with his, swallowing the smile from her lips.
Not satisfied with just sucking, he rolled over and pinned her beneath him.
