Having no other choice, Ni Qianshan hailed a taxi and followed Ni Sitian to the police station.
Deputy Director Zhang had already received notice that Mrs. Xu would be coming, so he waited in the lobby. When he saw Ni Sitian come in, he went up to her and said, "Mrs. Xu, it's been a long time."
Ni Sitian didn't put on airs to avoid giving anyone something to talk about, and said to Zhang Peng, "I'm here to report a crime."
"Please come this way." Zhang Peng led Ni Sitian to the interrogation room.
Ni Qianshan recognized Zhang Peng; he had met him at a banquet before, but he hadn't even had the right to speak to him. He never expected that Zhang Peng would treat Ni Sitian with such respect and courtesy, and his heart sank slightly.

"What! I didn't rob anyone! I... I was just playing around with my sister!" Ni Ziqi was genuinely terrified. She had only taken two earrings from Ni Sitian's ears; she never imagined things would escalate to such a serious level!
“You can save these words for your lawyer; he will help you defend yourself.” The officer stood up and gestured for two junior officers to take Ni Ziqi to the detention room.
Ni Sitian had just finished giving her statement when she came across Ni Ziqi. Ni Ziqi went berserk and tried to rush at Ni Sitian to hit her, but was subdued by quick-thinking police officers and pinned against the wall.
"You bitch! I won't let you get away with this!" Ni Ziqi began to hurl insults at him without restraint.
Zhang Peng gave the police officer a wink, and the officer immediately used a stun gun to shock Ni Ziqi in the waist, causing Ni Ziqi to lose consciousness.
Ni Sitian frowned, wondering what was wrong with Ni Ziqi.
"Mrs. Xu, I'll take you out." Zhang Peng said to Ni Sitian with a smile as he had Ni Ziqi dragged towards the detention room.
Ni Sitian withdrew her gaze and walked out.
"Sitian, wait a minute." Ni Qianshan blocked Ni Sitian's way, not daring to offend her, so he rubbed his hands and gently advised, "Sitian, no matter what, it's all Ziqi's fault. You don't really want to sentence her to a prison, do you? After all, you grew up together. Locking her up for a few days to teach her a lesson is enough. You can't really bear to make her go to jail for several years, can you?"
Ni Sitian found it somewhat amusing to see her father, who was usually so domineering in front of her, bowing and scraping like this.
She didn't believe he was really doing it for Ni Ziqi; rather, she thought Ni Ziqi still had some use for him. She should have seen through this man long ago; he was selfish to the extreme.
"You should hire a good lawyer for her." Ni Sitian continued walking out.
Ni Qianshan wanted to give chase again, but was stopped by the police: "Please do not harass the victim."
He gritted his teeth, clenched his fists tightly, and glared resentfully at Ni Sitian's back. After watching her walk away, he pushed the policeman aside and stormed out. Just as he was about to cross the street to hail a taxi, a black Audi stopped in front of him.
The car window rolled down, revealing a man's face. His cold eyes slightly lifted: "Mr. Ni, would you be interested in having a chat with me?"
