As they headed towards Pier 7, Xu Tingchuan called Pei Yang.
Pei Yang was most familiar with the docks, and they now needed to know the locations of all the warehouses at Pier 7.
Just as Xu Tingchuan received the message, Shen Muzhi drove the car to the dock.
The two got out of the car and searched each of the warehouses separately.
Finally, they met up, panting, and shook their heads at each other.
Just then, Shen Muzhi's phone rang, and he immediately swiped to answer it.
"Tsk tsk, panting like that, you must have had a tough run." Li Rui leaned back in his leather chair, casually tapping the table with his fingers, and gave a affected sigh: "I'm really sorry, I got the location wrong."
"You want to kill me, don't you? Just do it." Shen Muzhi knew he had been tricked, and his face darkened even more, but now he was more worried about Xiang Zhilan and the others.
“It’s no fun to kill someone all at once.” Li Rui enjoyed the feeling of toying with people; it was much more fun than killing them outright. Slowly torturing them was truly delightful. Shen Muzhi hung up the phone with a sullen face and got into the car with Xu Tingchuan.
"The people we sent out replied that they have already dispatched personnel to the Qinghua Mountain area. Li Rui is clearly playing us for fools and making us go in circles," Xu Tingchuan said to Shen Muzhi.
“He knew immediately that we had searched the entire Pier 7 warehouse, which means he had people watching us all along.” Shen Muzhi turned the steering wheel and looked at the rearview mirror. There was a car following them. He frowned. “Zhi Lan and Si Tian are in their hands. I’m afraid we have no choice but to do as he says.”
Xu Tingchuan frowned. He found this strange. It wasn't surprising that Li Rui was able to bring down Feng Nianyao, but even if Li Rui had someone surnamed Tang as his backer, he shouldn't have dared to touch the Xu and Shen families, let alone do it once.
"Muzhi, have you had any problems lately?" He felt that things were more than just kidnapping and threats. How could Li Rui risk losing everything he had just gained to seek revenge? Even if he wanted to retaliate, he would find a way to get away unscathed.

But Li Rui remained fearless; what else had he done behind the scenes?
When the two arrived at the foot of Qinghua Mountain, as expected, Li Rui called again, saying, "Oh dear, I got it wrong again. Look at my memory, I'm probably too tired. Let me take a nap first."
After Li Rui finished speaking, he hung up the phone, flipped it in his hand, and a smug, cold smile appeared on his lips.
Xu Tingchuan received a call and eliminated another location. Now, of the five vehicles, only one location remains to be searched.
“The factory redevelopment area in the north of our city,” he said, looking at Shen Muzhi.
Shen Muzhi started the car and pressed the accelerator harder. Half an hour later, he arrived at the ruins-like redevelopment area and began searching through abandoned factories.
They searched for Ni Sitian's phone with its cracked screen at a chemical plant, but didn't see a single person.
