Seeing his fierce expression, Ni Sitian sheepishly withdrew her hand and muttered to herself, "I really know I was wrong."
Xu Tingchuan ignored her and drove home with a cold face.
No matter how Ni Sitian tried to talk to him along the way, he ignored her completely.
Once inside the house, Ni Sitian was mentally prepared to get a spanking. After changing into slippers, she went to the sofa.
She obediently lay down on the sofa, pouting resignedly, "Go ahead and hit me."
Xu Tingchuan glanced at her, but didn't make a move. Instead, he said in a deep voice, "Ni Sitian, do you think you're still a primary school student? You think spanking can solve everything when you make a mistake?"
Ni Sitian was stunned for a moment. Didn't he used to like disciplining her like this? Does he not like spanking anymore?
Xu Tingchuan was amused by her blank and innocent look. It seemed she thought that everything she did was a mistake and could be resolved with a spanking.
"Sit down properly," he commanded in a low voice, then sat down on the single sofa next to him.
Ni Sitian obediently sat up, put her legs together, placed her hands on her knees, and looked at Xu Tingchuan with big eyes, as if she was about to listen to a serious reprimand.
"You said you were going to buy something, but what is it that requires you to rush out in such a hurry, and why did you keep it a secret from Xiao Zhang and not let him come along?" Xu Tingchuan asked seriously.
Ni Sitian had anticipated that Xu Tingchuan might discover her before she left home, so she had made preparations in advance. She reached into her bag, took out a pouch from it, and handed it to Xu Tingchuan with a flushed face.
Xu Tingchuan took it and, seeing that she seemed shy, curiously opened the bag.
Upon seeing what was inside, his eyes widened in surprise, and his cheeks flushed. He coughed twice, closed the bag, and placed it aside, his voice low and hoarse with a hint of unease: "Why did you buy this?"
"I reserved the thing you said you wanted to play last time. The landlady asked me to pick it up today." Ni Sitian was so embarrassed she wanted to disappear into the ground. Actually, she had only reserved it two days ago, just in case Xu Tingchuan would become suspicious of ordinary things, so she went all out and got something... cough cough, unrestrained.
"I'll let it go this time, but don't do it again next time. If you need this, you can call me." Xu Tingchuan's face was still flushed, but he was no longer as fierce as when he first entered the room.
Having successfully fooled herself, Ni Sitian immediately got up, sat on Xu Tingchuan's lap, wrapped her arms around his neck, and grumbled aggrievedly, "I originally wanted to give you a surprise, but you were so mean, and now the surprise is ruined. I don't care, you have to make it up to me."
In just over ten days, on July 7th, they will get their marriage certificate, marking their official first anniversary. Ni Sitian had indeed intended to do so.
"Don't act innocent after getting the benefit. It was wrong of you not to tell anyone." Xu Tingchuan patted Ni Sitian's butt.
Ni Sitian cried out, clutching her bottom, her eyes wide: "Didn't you say you wouldn't spank me anymore?"
"Who said I wasn't going to fight anymore?" Xu Tingchuan said sternly, slapping the hand again. "You've gone astray! Do you think you could have bought this?"
Ni Sitian covered her bottom with both hands, looking aggrieved, and pouted: "You're such a hypocrite, don't you like it?"
“Then I should be the one buying it. How can a girl like you go in and out of sex shops?” Xu Tingchuan slapped her again.
"I was wrong, I was wrong, please stop hitting me!" Ni Sitian quickly covered her bottom and got up to run away.
Xu Tingchuan reached out and pulled her back by the waist.
