Chapter 829 Jia Yue Loses Control

Pei Yang was speechless. It seemed that nothing had happened between them last night. As for why his underwear had been taken off, that would probably remain a mystery.

"I'm warning you, don't go around talking about what happened last night!" Xu Jiayue pulled back the covers and glared at Pei Yang.

“I hope so too.” How embarrassing it would be for him to say that.

Xu Jiayue jumped out of bed and went into the bathroom to wash up. While she was washing her face with soap, she called out to Pei Yang, "Go find me some clothes. I don't want yours. I want women's clothes."

“Miss Xu, I’m not your maid. Where am I supposed to find women’s clothes for you at this hour?” Pei Yang said irritably.

Upon hearing the title "Miss Xu," Xu Jiayue's eyes instantly reddened, tears welled up, and she sobbed as she cried.

Pei Yang was stunned. Seeing her suddenly burst into tears, he was at a loss. He went into the bathroom, patted Xu Jiayue's shoulder, and patiently coaxed her, "Okay, okay, I'll go call someone to send over women's clothes. Don't cry."

Xu Jiayue cried even harder, then suddenly hugged Pei Yang's shoulder and sobbed in his arms.

Pei Yang looked down and saw that all the foam from her mouth had gotten all over him. He stiffened, patted her back, and comforted her, "Don't cry, don't cry. What's the big deal about being dumped? You've been dumped before. It's just Han Shizhao. I'll introduce you to someone better."

Xu Jiayue looked up, laughing and crying at the same time, and sprayed toothpaste foam onto Pei Yang's face.

Pei Yang was stunned. The filth was already unbearable for him. He roared, "Xu Jiayue, did you do this on purpose?!"

Xu Jiayue's sad mood was comforted by Pei Yang's disheveled appearance. She sniffed and stopped crying.

Pei Yang wiped his face in disgust, turned around and left the guest room bathroom, then hurried back to the master bedroom bathroom, took off his clothes and stood under the bathroom heater to take a shower.

When he came out of the shower, Xu Jiayue was still wearing the same wrinkled clothes from last night, sitting in the living room drinking.

He frowned, walked over, snatched the bottle from her hand, and angrily said, "Xu Jiayue, are you crazy? What are you drinking so early in the morning!"

"I wish I were crazy." Xu Jiayue smirked and slumped onto the sofa.

She really hoped that what had happened these past two days was just a nightmare, and that everything would be back to normal once she woke up.

How could she accept that her mother wasn't her mother, her father wasn't her father, her brother wasn't her brother, and that she didn't even have the surname Xu? The family she had called out to for over twenty years turned out to be none of them related to her by blood, and that her dearest and most beloved mother was actually the murderer who killed her biological parents.

She felt completely unreal; it was like a dream, and everything she heard and saw was an illusion.

"It's just a breakup, don't make a big deal out of it. What's so great about Han Shizhao that you're making such a fuss over him?" Pei Yang threw the wine into the trash can.

"Who said I'm heartbroken!" Xu Jiayue smiled bitterly. If it were that simple, she wouldn't be so sad, her heart aching as if she were going to die.

"What is that? It's dangerous for a girl like you to be drunk like that in a bar. If I hadn't picked you up, you might be lying in someone's bed today," Pei Yang scolded angrily.

"Don't be like my brother, okay? Why can't girls drink in bars? Besides, that's Brother Mu's place. How could anyone possibly mess with me?" Xu Jiayue desperately needed an outlet for her emotions, and Pei Yang unfortunately walked right into that trap.

Pei Yang was both angry and helpless, and said angrily, "Fine, fine, then I'll call your brother to deal with you!"

When Xu Jiayue saw him take out his phone to make a call, she immediately pounced on him and snatched it away. After grabbing it, she slammed it to the ground, somewhat frantically shouting, "Don't tell him!"

Pei Yang was stunned. Although Xu Jiayue sometimes had a bit of a spoiled princess temper, she had never been so willful before, and had even smashed his phone in a completely unreasonable manner.

"Xu Jiayue, what's wrong with you?" Pei Yang calmly grasped her shoulders and asked in a deep voice.
