Qin Mubei turned around at the sound and saw Xu Tingchuan. His brows furrowed slightly. "What do you mean?"
Xu Tingchuan approached Ni Sitian, smoothed her hair, and smiled slightly: "Sitian, didn't you tell Mr. Qin?"
Ni Sitian noticed that although he was smiling, there was no hint of a smile in his dark eyes. His calm black eyes seemed to hold the calm before a storm.

His dark, inky eyes stared at her, making her heart tremble.
"When did you get back?" she asked, swallowing hard and sounding inexplicably nervous.
"You want me to never come back, don't you?" Xu Tingchuan's eyes turned slightly cold, and he tugged at the corner of his mouth.
“I didn’t think that way.” Ni Sitian pursed her lips and explained, “Qin Mubei’s company and my company are in the same office building, so don’t misunderstand.”
"What did I misunderstand? Did I misunderstand that you've been spending all this time together?" Xu Tingchuan's voice grew even lower.
Ni Sitian felt very uncomfortable with his sarcastic questioning. When it comes to spending time together, who could compare to the amount of time he spent with a female secretary in a Hong Kong hotel?
She felt a sharp pang of sadness and a deep sense of injustice. She pouted, turned her head away, and refused to speak to him.
